Im trippen yet he hasnt beat really anyone worth mentioning, Diego is wack face it and hes only popular cuz of the show.

lol his only losses are to BJ, Fitch and Kos and he's beat Diaz, Karo, Florian and Jorge Santiago. I think it was a case of them not having anyone else to put up against BJ, and the fight with Guida was exciting as hell so a lot of people wanted to see it. I think if Maynard beats Nate next month he might get the next shot, otherwise they need to steal someone from Dream/Strikeforce or have BJ move up to 170 and fight Rumble or somebody like that

ur helllla underestimating Diego... the show made him popular yes but his ass whoopins he layed down after the show made him even more famous... only losing to Kos and fitch (close fight) is not sumn to be ashamed of... or make him "weak"... u should watch him vs karo parysian or him vs nick diaz... luigi fiorivanti.. clay guida... great fights... Diego is far from overrated or weak or whatever u said about him.. dude showed tons of heart yesterday and hes still very young... its not his fault Bj Penn is just over skilled and well trained.. Diego is gonna have to work harder if he wants to get past BJ and win a title.

as much as i like edgar hes got no chance. the guy is already too small for the division. i think he should drop down to 145. maynard is the just the opposite and is huge at lightweight. but i still dont see him giving bj any problems really. since no one can take him down and his striking is better what can they do.

im shocked you didnt like the card.
the only fight i didnt like was the fitch fight.
like i told my friend (the same guy who thought the undercard fights of pac-cotto were good) who was badmouthing the ppv the entire time, mma just isnt your thing i guess, so stop watching and find something new to complain about.

if there was a way to create a guy with Maynard's size, Aoki's BJJ, Edgar's boxing, Sherk's takedowns, Gomi's KO power, Hansen's knees, Florian's elbows, Hirota's takedown defense, Kikuno's kicks, Kitaoka's leglocks, Alvarez's badassness and Kawajiri's sweet ass mullet, that guy might have a chance at beating BJ.

BJ is a beast, I lost alot of respect for him after the 2nd GSP fight, but you cant deny his skills. Frank mir looked great as well, dude put on some mass after what brock did to him.

Lol @ you gettin' worked up because you can't tell apart lightweight from light heavyweight. I'm not mad that Diego lost. I was cheerin' for 'em but come on this was a Joe vs the Volcano scenario basically. Go post in the Mayweather/Pacquiao thread & fuck 'outta here.

You're from Richmond. That alone let's it slide bruh goon. Yeah it is too bad Frank Murr didn't get his face smashed. He's a an arrogant douche who talks a lot. Yet you can't deny that dude has increased his stand up dramatically (stand up is when a fighters fights on their feet) & it showed last night. It's MMA g. Anything can happen. Then again people like you tend to think it's "scripted". It was actually a great night last night. No dull fights, great card period.
