Thiago will destroy Rashad in the octagon, Bitch.
i hope it happens, Rashad is feeling himself to much and is not that great of a fighter. He needs to be brought back down to earth a bit more even though he already got brutally beat down already by Machida.

I can't remember where specifically Thiago was ranked and who else was ranked at that time. The only thing he had going for him was that he was undefeated until the Machida fight. It's weird how one day they were talking about how stacked LHW was then it wasn't so stacked (when Rampage "retired"), now it's stacked again.

There's some inconsistency in your argument though (or maybe inconsistency in the ranking system). On one hand, Forrest HAS to be ranked because on paper he has good wins, but Silva is ranked even though the wins he has, and let's be real here, aren't really that impressive and never have been.

Does it sound like I'm picking on Thiago? :lick:
I think they'll always be inconsistencies in the way things are ranked. My thing is pretty much this if you have 10 guys, 8 of them are proven top 10 fighters (i.e. champ, #1-2 contenders, former champ that just lost, highly ranked top 10 that just lost to another highly ranked top 10) and the other 2 are unproven guys that are making more noise than the rest of the up and comers .. you'd rank you're first 8 than throw the other 2 in there because that's the only 10 you have.

You can't put someone on the list twice and someone HAS to be in those spots. Forrest should be ranked because he has two top 10 wins over at the time the two #1 ranked fighters. That's huge. Silva gets ranked towards the bottom because after the first 8 it's a huge drop off .. there's no one under Silva that has recent top 10 wins, you can interchange him and Luiz Cane as to which prospect that doesn't have a big win that lost to a top 10 ranked fighter you like best.

So it's more a lack of a deep pool than anything
