It's dangerous and everything, but I'd rather risk getting shot or jacked than to live somewhere with racist ass neighbors that'll call the cops on you if you play your music too loud or report you to the city if you forget to mow your lawn.

I feel u.. and yeah I wasnt sure if you knew all the spots like that but yeah u pretty much named them... i didnt know modesto city didnt claim airport tho.... but yeah im from North/Central Modesto myself but I've kicked it all over the city and know every area good... right now I live in Escalon a little ass town about 5 minutes down mchenry but I'm usually in Modesto/Ceres or Stockton the majority of the time or I'm out of the area code somewhere fuckin around....... Honestly tho I feel safer in Modesto than in Stockton maybe its just cuz its home but stockton seems a little worse tho....

misleading to judge a city by the whole....count the violent crime rates by neighborhoods and find whats really happ-nin....I live in yakima its grimey TO AN EXTENT but thats cause its poor with a weak economy but your chances of gettin smoked anyday of the week iin any part of town is low...They get rarely more then ten murders a year, Parts of Oakland , Frisco,Sac,LA gettin more murders in certain hoods...
You can go to any city damn near and feel the tension in certain parts.

another thing i noticed, at least here, their are way more murders than are actually published, cause if they published all the unsolved murders, police etc would look like some dumbass's

You're right. Modesto seems safer cuz it's home, and because Stockton is worse than Modesto overall. In Modesto, people from the Westside think the Southside is worse, and people from the Southside think the Westside is worse. I know people from the Westside that are scared to kick it in the Southside and the other way around too.

There are still a good amount of safe neighborhoods in Modesto: Del Rio, Dutch Hollow, W of Carpenter behind Richland, Scenic/Sonoma Area, El Vista Area, etc. But there are only a couple of safe neighborhoods in Stockton left.

Yeah thats true.I live in oak park and I know for sure theres been about 23 murders so far this year, and thats just the ones i've herd about or that I knew ppl who were envolved.Now with that said oak park is a pretty big hood but still thats just one hood in sac.

I heard the same thing from some of the homeboys here in Modesto. They say that when a Sureno (without papers) gets killed the Cops don't report it.
