U.S. most dangerous cities(It's all bad)

L.A. as a whole is a safe city to live in.it's just certain areas that are as fucked up as any ghetto in detriot or new orleons..east L.A.,compton,watts,south central and east san fernando valley just to mention a few.but remember that L.A. also has beverly hills,brentwoodd,hollywood hills,malibu and many other ''rich'' areas as well.
With a population of 89 thousand thats pretty bad, there a site that occasionaly will have news on Yakima shootings. Shit they have Seattle even Walla Walla had three shooting just check it out.

Murder Rates
Merced City - 17.1
Merced County - 3.6
City & County Combined - 9.7
Modesto - 9.1
Stanislaus County - 11.4
City & County Combined - 9.89
This is JUST the City & County; it doesn't include other towns. Modesto suburbs have much higher murder rates than Merced suburbs. So the metro area (not the city) also has a higher murder rate.

also a lot of Modestos worst neighborhoods are considered unincorporated county areas or some shit... they not modesto or any other city just county maintained... like south 9th street to herndon road in the little "barrio" "lil mexico" or whatever people call it... and off crows landing and some spots on the west side.... also yeah the surrounding towns like Ceres, Empire, Patterson, Riverbank all have there fair share of crimes as well.....
Merced County tho has atwater and winton both which have some gang funk goin on with northerners and southerners... personally i dont give a fuck... i would prefer my city to be safer than more dangerous.... people braggin about how fucked up they city is is gonna regret it when they walk outside and they ride is gone, or walk down the block and get hit up and jacked... that shits not fun... I want a place where my family is safe.. and i feel safe in Modesto so i aint trippin
Yup, the worst hoods in Modesto are unincorporated: Deep Southside, OG Southside, Parklawn, the worst part of Varrio, Airport in the Eastside, Sutter/Robertson/Paradise area in the Westside, etc. Like dude said in another post, the worst LA hoods are just as bad as any Detroit hood. Same thing goes with these hoods here: South Sac, South Stockton, South Modesto, East Oakland, etc., are just as bad as any other hood in this country. They're all different but all the same.
It ain't about bragging, it's about reality. All these places got their fucked up hoods and their good ones. I'd rather live in the Southside than in North Modesto, because that's where I grew up. It's dangerous and everything, but I'd rather risk getting shot or jacked than to live somewhere with racist ass neighbors that'll call the cops on you if you play your music too loud or report you to the city if you forget to mow your lawn.
