the thing is i dont know how to do that . i mean sometimes i have to respond 3 or 4 times to the same post because i dont know to quotes multiple quotes in 1 reply
when u click on quote, copy and paste (right click) everything u see between
the " {[QUOTE}" and reply under everyone u paste.

and when u get kicced off, just copy what u have written, and
paste to a text document, then connect and copy and paste to
the forums.

don't know the name, but he was a socialist, i read it somewhere
think it was in zmag. i'll search through the mags later this week
and post the name.
his name was Francis Bellamy around 1892.

it wasn't till 1954 were a Roman Catholic fraternal organization
lobbied to insert the "under God" part into the pledge.

he granddaughter resented the change..

Some prolife advocates recite the following slightly revised Pledge: 'I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all, born and unborn.'

A few liberals recite a slightly revised version of Bellamy's original Pledge: 'I pledge allegiance to my Flag, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with equality, liberty and justice for all.'

this was taken from..."the pledge of allegiance" by john w. baer

heres how i think it should be done:

i pledge allegiance to the flag of the united states of america and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with equality, liberty, and justice for all
