Its a true account of the son of God and what really happened to him. Its a very emotional movie, and the gore and such, is what it was like for Jesus to go through. He did it for a reason and a purpose and that is to show you all he died for your sins and that pain he went through was the best way he knew how to get it into out thick headed skulls. So if you go and see it remember its all true, and God did it so that we could be saved.

God Bless

Little children in Africa, Iraq, America etc. suffer every day more than Jesus ever did.

And can someone please explain to me the logic to why sacrificing your own son to yourself is going to help anything.

Read the Bible before you post up something like that. Little children dont go through the pain of crucifixion, you see myabe you should read the medical report on Jesus punishments. And God sacraficed his Son because that was what is needed to cleanse our iniquities. YOu see Droop we are all guilty of something sometime or another and you have sinned as have i. It is through him we are able to get over the divide between man and god. And see Jesus died for you, I doubt you know anybody that would go through as much torture as Jesus did for you, no one you know would go through Crucifixion to save you. So before you act as if we have it so much worse then Jesus, remember what he did for you.

@2-0 Sixx- Thats why God gave us free will, it doesnt mean he still doesnt love you regardless. And one day you will have to give an account of your life to God. And YOU WILL BOW before him. But the chocie of where you go is yours. A fiery pit known as hell or Eternal Life in Heaven. Its your decision but no matter what you say on this website or how much you dont belive, Jesus still believes in you my friend.

God Bless

Oh NO! You sure scared me man, a fiery pit? Damn man, I better get my ass to church right away and repent! Please Lord all mighty don’t send me to hell!

lol@free will. He gave us free will and yet god is all-knowing, right? Hmm, sounds like a contradiction to me. So if god knows all, he knew I would be an Atheist before I was born.

Stop trippin and drink a 40oz. You feel all holy and spiritual just because you saw a movie about Jesus, all right “Alcoholic Murderer”?<-----Doesn’t sound to Christian.

BWAHAHAHAHA!

I'd rather go to hell with people that's got a mind of their own than spend eternity in heaven with hypocrits.

Also, do some research on Gehenna.

Do you know anything about the sacrifice of animals in the Old Testament?

Yeah, before Jesus died for our sins innocent animals had to die for them. What I don't understand is God's lust for blood.

This movie reeks of capitalism though :
Buy a coffee mug to show that you love Jesus

BTW, I haven't seen the movie yet (I will download it, HA!) but does Jesus yell "FREEDOM!" in the end because that would have been awesome.

This movie looks great though :

Well the animals were sacrificed to show if and how much you loved God. Man was selfish though and that didn't work so then came the 10 commandments. Again, man was so corrupted that many were still missing the opertunity for eternal life.

So God decided to send his Son as the sacrificial lamb for us, the lost souls. We are lost indeed and the only way to find ourselves is through Jesus (according to the New Testament).
There for anyone who accepts Jesus as his/her savior will be written in the book of life.
It's that easy man.... But human pride, ego, selfishness, and ignorance gets in the way and makes it almost impossible for them to humble themselves.

I'm sure you've read John 3:16 before:
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

Jesus said that the greatest commandment was to love God with everything you have. Jesus's death was God's way of showing how much he loves us. He loved us so much that he sacrificed his Son for the sake of our salvation.

Remember when God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son?
It's connected to what God did with Jesus.
Yes Abraham didn't kill his son but God was testing his love.
Abe was gonna kill his own son, that's how much he loved God.
With Jesus, it's the opposite.... Only difference is that Jesus did die....

Accepting God into your life is the way to save your soul. Believe it if you want to, I'm not forcing you.

See that's just it. Free Will. God gave us something that even HE doesn't have. God is perfect and can only do "God-ly" things. He gave us free will. You think its contradictiong but its not, You just love to jump to conclusions when it comes to Religion and most importantly Christianity.
Things we have to remember:
1)God loves us.
2)We need him but he doesnt need us.
3)He created us so that we can experience what he always has and always will.
Ok, now knowing this I can make my point. Say you love a girl if thats even possible you fag (see how conclusions are made without any rationale? Note: I have nothing against you and completely retract that statement its just there to further get my point across.) Ok so back to this woman, say that you love her. But what kind of love is that when you have a gun held to her head and demand her love? THAT'S being hypocritical. God isnt forcing you to do anything. If he did then he would be the hyporcite. See how that works? You have a choice to either really love him, really hate him, or be indifferent towards him.

Sacrifices are for washing away the son of man. If it were not because of man turning his back on God we wouldnt need to sacrifice, Its OUR fault not God's. If it were up to him we would have no sin.
