lololol. and you don't think mothafuckas aint going to jail w/out a fair and lawful trial? hahaahahahah WOW, have you EVER heard of Guantanamo Bay?
My point was, we get trials. Some countries DO NOT! China being one of them. Cats in China get thrown in prison when they speak against injustice and wrongdoing by the government. What about Guantanamo Bay? There are a lot of terror suspects in there. Those motherfuckers aren't protected by our constitution, because they're not citizens nor do they reside here. If they DID reside here, they are guilty of treason and should be hung in my opinion. Should we give them a fair shot? Did they give anybody in the twin towers a fair shot? Did they give anybody in the Pentagon or on the planes a fair shot? Fuck no. You're telling me to school myself, but you need to realize why dudes are in Guantanamo Bay. People can kidnap civilians in Iraq and behead them, but we're not allowed to TOUCH prisoners. Give me a fuckin' break. They don't even have it that bad in there.

i'll let this go, i just really hope you school yourself before tryin to come w/ a public announcement as ignorant and biased as your post in this thread. =D
Nothing ignorant or biased about my "announcement". I've been to other countries and I've read up on a lot of their laws (wise thing to do before traveling), and my relatives and friends served in Afghanistan and Iraq. Believe me, the completely liberal media, as well as the conservative media were and ARE feeding the public shit that helps their cause. Nobody is speaking on middle ground except the people that were THERE...the people that captured those dudes that are sitting in GitMo. Remember, ALL IS FAIR IN LOVE AND WAR! Some dudes brought it to us, and we took it back to them. That doesn't tell US how we aren't FREE in this country. Your example tells us how people that attack us aren't free in this country.

Places like China don't even have Freedom of the Press! They can say what the government tells them to say, and that's it. I think you need to speak without bias, because what you're saying is only a left wing viewpoint. What Bill O'Reilly says is only a right wing viewpoint. Stand in the middle, look at what's really going on, and decide for yourself. It seems to me that you forgot WHY those people are locked up in Cuba.

I don't benefit from anything in this country besides my own hard work. You're gonna use slaves as a point? Almost every super power to EVER exist had slaves...not just the U.S. Slavery has BEEN over in this country for quite some time now. Tell Bill Cosby about slaves, or Ice Cube, Chris Rock, Richard Pryor (RIP). Oh, wait, those are entertainers, and ANYBODY can do that, right? How about Clifton R. Wharton, Kenneth I. Chenault, Roger L. Plummer, Alfred T. Mays, Carl Ware, Brenda E. Edgerton, Richard D. Nanula, or George R. Lewis. That's only a few black folks who grew in the U.S. and made something of themselves. People of EVERY background can benefit here if they work hard.

About the "defense" you are speaking of. A LOT of people have been outside of this country, some say other countries are better, some say the U.S. is better. I'm one of the people familiar with other countries, and there are TONS of things you take for granted. One example is, you're allowed to SPIT here. If a bug flies into your mouth in say, Singapore, you're not allowed to spit. It's against the law.

What else has been illegal in Singapore? Homosexuals are not allowed to live in the country, Bungee jumping is illegal, you may not walk around your home nude, It is considered an offense to enter the country with cigarettes. Guess what, Singapore is probably the cleanest country in the world. BUT, a lot of shit is illegal. Chewing gum just became legal.

In CHINA, Although the 1982 constitution guarantees freedom of speech, the Chinese government often uses the subversion of state power clause to imprison those who are critical of the government. There is very heavy government involvement in the media, with most of the largest media organizations being run directly by the government. Chinese law forbids the advocation of independence or self-determination for territories Beijing considers under its jurisdiction, as well as public challenge to the CCP's monopoly in ruling China.

References to democracy, the Free Tibet movement, Taiwan as an independent state, certain religious organizations and anything remotely questioning the legitimacy of the Communist Party of China are banned from use in publications and blocked on the Internet. The PRC is known for its intolerance of organized dissent towards the government. Dissident groups are routinely arrested and imprisoned, often for long periods of time and without trial.

Shall I go on?
No need... all the countries you cited as examples are ones that have been raped by Western civilization... No matter how much hard work you put in, please remember that many in the countries you mentioned are working twice as hard for a fraction of the return...

As far as your roll call of notable figures in the Black community... many Republicans have used this technique in an amusing attempt to prove that discrimination doesn't exist... but you must ask yourself, "why is there proportionately so fewer of these success stories when compared to those of which that have ancestors who've benefited from our country's exploitive policies?"

Slavery, Sharecropping, Jim Crow, Redline Districting, Cointelpro, Nicaragua & the CIA-backed Contras smuggling cocaine into the U.S to start the crack epidemic, mandatory minimum for hard vs soft, to the continued glorification of the D-Boy lifestyle on the Clear Channel/Viacom monopoly... these are topics that may help you understand the black experience in a deeper way...

If you'd like, I can point out how some of these situations may have directly or indirectly led to you and your ancestors' benefit...

For example: if your grandparents were looking to buy their first home at the end of WWII, they were already placed in an advantageous position - as people of color were initially not offered such mortgages, and when they finally were... well let's just say the deals weren't as sweet... South Central, Compton, Oakland, Richmond (shout out to my G-ma!)... higher interest rates... lower re-sale values when folks wanted to move out...

On the opposite side of the spectrum, those who had families that owned homes in cities in which you could get a pizza delivered... well those houses exploded in value... providing more than an adequate advantage in the multi-generational relay race against true equality...

...but as the pages of history turn, all that I've spoken on will be revealed as just a drop in the bucket... and that is why this country is free for some and for most it ain't... :siccness:

BTW my co-worker who moved from China to the US in 1972 believes that every country has there own book you have to follow in order to succeed... and that freedom is a luxury available only to those who can afford it...

He believes China to be the freer of the two countries in question, but the US is where the money is at... so he grinds over here and vacations in his homeland...

Azrdah makes everyone from Arizona sound like inbred babies with down syndrome

but really I think blatant ignorance is what gives America such a bad name around the world. Though America is home to greats such as MLK, Muhammad Ali, MJ, Lincoln, Phelps, freedom of religion, press, equal rights & protection under law. We are also home to the biggest douchebags in the world, for example, Azrydah. And that, is undeniable, regardless of how you look at it.

No matter how much hard work you put in, please remember that many in the countries you mentioned are working twice as hard for a fraction of the return...
That's EXACTLY my point. Those countries never even adopted the same government style or ideals that the western world has...so how is it OUR fault that they get fucked over there? You made my point for me, they work harder and they don't get shit out of it.

That's just a small list of 50 of the most successful black executives in the United States. That list doesn't include any entertainment figures like Barry Gordy, Quincy Jones, Suge Knight, Sean Combs, Russell Simmons, Spike Lee, John Singleton. That list doesn't include the Jerry Rice's, Morgan Freeman's, Denzel Washington's. FUCK, that doesn't include the regular cats who work 9-5 jobs like a lot of people from many other races that live normal lives. So are you telling me that these "exploitive policies" have made black folks rich? The same policies that "hold down" other black folks?

Slavery, Sharecropping, Jim Crow, Redline Districting, Cointelpro, Nicaragua & the CIA-backed Contras smuggling cocaine into the U.S to start the crack epidemic, mandatory minimum for hard vs soft, to the continued glorification of the D-Boy lifestyle on the Clear Channel/Viacom monopoly... these are topics that may help you understand the black experience in a deeper way...
The "Black experience"? Are you aware of how many and what type of people are affected by these narcotics? Open your eyes, it isn't just black folks. Have you ever sold crack? If so, were you forced to do it? Why do other folks sell crack? So they can take care of shit? They can make money? Well, those folks are fucking up their own communities in the name of the mighty dollar. At the same time, they aren't going to school, they aren't learning trades or job skills, and they are the only reason they aren't succeeding. Tell successful people from bad communities that it isn't possible. THAT'S MY POINT!!

If you'd like, I can point out how some of these situations may have directly or indirectly led to you and your ancestors' benefit...
My ancestors didn't benefit from anything, they were immigrants that the white people here didn't like. They were taken and put into their own communities (like black, chinese, Irish, Jewish, etc.).

South Central, Compton, Oakland, Richmond (shout out to my G-ma!)... higher interest rates... lower re-sale values when folks wanted to move out...
There were white people in those areas, as well. You know where else? Trailer parks. At least the people in those cities you named off live in houses that don't have wheels. It wasn't just black folks, it was folks at a disadvantage (broke people). Like I said, my family was shit on when they came here in the 20th century. We didn't gain anything from slavery or discrimination, because we were also discriminated against. Not the whole different bathroom, different drinking fountain deal...but still disliked greatly and shoved into our own communities.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, those who had families that owned homes in cities in which you could get a pizza delivered... well those houses exploded in value... providing more than an adequate advantage in the multi-generational relay race against true equality...
Does this still ring true? 'Cause every time I've been to the hood, we've ordered pizza and it was delivered. I lived in a shitty area myself, but the pizza guy still went there. I'm not talking about how shit WAS, I'm talking about how shit IS!

...but as the pages of history turn, all that I've spoken on will be revealed as just a drop in the bucket... and that is why this country is free for some and for most it ain't... :siccness:
Again, it's a free country for those who want it to be. Those who dwell on shit, no matter what race they are, only make things worse for themselves. There's broke people everywhere. It doesn't take away from the rights we have that other countries don't.

Lol. Oh man they were right. A San Francisco State sociology professor did a study on how white privilege is still alive and how it affects minorities. He went on the streets of San Francisco and randomly asked people what does it mean to be white. He asked white people and minorities.

The white people would get uncomfortable and offended when asked and would responded with, "I'm not racist", "I'm colorblind", "Why does everyone still talk about race", "I hate talking about race", "Are you calling me a racist?" etc. When he asked minorities what does it mean to be white they all had plenty to say, "It means not being followed by security in stores", "It means not having a problem getting housing", "It means you're the social standard", "It means you're the REAL american and everyone else is just here" , "It means having an easier time finding a job." etc.

Tell what you just said to any history professor that slavery and the laws that this country had has nothing to do with the state of black people today being poor and angry at the system. They will educate you on a lot. Yes you should work hard to get ahead but a lot of times your skin color can determine how you fare in this country.

I hear people say and even my mom say "Why can't black people just get over slavery and work hard and make something of themselves. Look at Asians. They just came here and they are successful." I don't even respond to that type of comment because I know they are not educated enough to understand.

First off Asians weren't blatantly oppressed by the system of this country except maybe the chinese railroad workers and Japanese internment camps. So their attitude about the system isn't plagued by bad experiences like black people.

Secondly, the wave of Asians that immigrated to this country were only allowed in because they had college degrees and were professionals. There was an act signed by the president in the 60's that allowed immigrants from all over the world to come here if they were professionals to boost the economy in the U.S. That's the only reason my parents were able to come here from the Philipines. With that in mind that has a lot to do with Asians being "successful" and educated here in America. Children with parents that have college degrees are more likely to get degrees themselves.

That is why 50% of all asian americans have a bachelor's or higher. It's a value passed down from the parents. There's a lot of poor and uneducated asians in asia. Actually more poor and uneducated than educated. Asians just have a good image here in America because the educated asians were the only ones allowed to come work here in the 60's. So the whole "model minority" thing is just a myth. Take only the educated people of any race to come here in America and breed and you will think they are successful too lol. Look at a lot of the Vietnamese refugees and Cambodians here. They came here poor and uneducated and a lot of them stay poor and don't have high rate of graduating college compared to other asians.

If black people just came to this country 30 years ago from Africa and the U.S only accepted black professionals, the black people you know today would be different.

Lol. Oh man they were right. A San Francisco State sociology professor did a study on how white privilege is still alive and how it affects minorities. He went on the streets of San Francisco and randomly asked people what does it mean to be white. He asked white people and minorities.
That white thing is not always valid. Where is the white privilege for the country ass dudes down south that can't get a decent job or house? What about the white folks that grew up in Compton or the projects on the East Coast? They exist. Where was the privilege for my grandparents and other Italians that were immigrants? That "privilege" is for the good ol' boys...the rednecks that think they are the only true Americans. You know, the people that run this country.

The only white people that would get offended and uncomfortable are the ones that are closet racists OR they look at different races with a cautious eye. Some of us truly don't give a fuck, nor are we uncomfortable talking about the problem. Some whites do have privilege, just not all of us. Remember, a lot of Italians are white, Spaniards are white, some Mexicans and South Americans are white (I'm talking skin color, features, etc). These are issues that need to be addressed and worked on AS A NATION! Now, some minorities are ignorant because some white folks also get followed around by security and police. In a lot of cases these days, it's not what color you are, it's how you dress and present yourself. As far as the job thing...I've been looking for a 9-5 for five months...as have a few other people I know. White, black, mexican, whatever...when it's tough, it's tough. If you have the skills, it's a lot easier. Housing comes with Credit...if you don't have credit, you're fucked. Unfortunately, a lot of people don't have good credit, if they have ANY!

Tell what you just said to any history professor that slavery and the laws that this country had has nothing to do with the state of black people today being poor and angry at the system. They will educate you on a lot. Yes you should work hard to get ahead but a lot of times your skin color can determine how you fare in this country.
Tell what I said to a history teacher? Have you ever read the books that those history teachers get their info from? One sided as fuck, and BARELY cover any of societies REAL racial issues from beginning to present. I got an A+ in high school AND college history, it wasn't a hard class and they don't tell you shit...they tell you half the facts.

I hear people say and even my mom say "Why can't black people just get over slavery and work hard and make something of themselves. Look at Asians. They just came here and they are successful." I don't even respond to that type of comment because I know they are not educated enough to understand.
It's not just black people, it's poor people that think they are getting shit on every time they turn around. Poverty and lack of success is more than black, it's EVERYBODY who doesn't go out there and get it. Like I've shown already, there are successful people of every race from every background, which means it CAN BE DONE and the excuses are running out. I've heard black folks complain about other black folks that use race as an excuse.

My argument wasn't racial, my argument was based on facts of certain nations. The freedoms we enjoy that people seem to forget. LMAO! 50% is half. So if half the asians are educated. But there are more uneducated than educated?

What happened when you typed all this shit?

You talk too much. You lost track of your point and totally contradicted what you were trying to say.

Keep it short and simple and you're less likely to put your foot in your mouth.

As for saying I am a douchebag, muney hongrey bitch? lol

Yeah I can be at times. I think it's funny on the siccness. No matter who it is, everyone always thinks there opinion is the truth, flat out. Even me.

Everyone here thinks there opinion is important. It isn't really, and no one on this forum is going to change the human race. Unless your Michael Jackson and you plan on "Healing the world". Because alot of us here aren't as smart as we think. Including 50% of you asians who live off mommy and daddys money and drive rice burners, and have bachelor degrees or higher. hahah

Try growing up and fending for yourself. I bet half of you asians couldn't do it. But I bet more than half of you can. (How's that for percentages Mr. macluv?) The only value that get's passed down as far as education is using their money to go to college.

Nice fat bitch in your sig. I bet she's excited because nobody has ever motorboated her fat ass flabby tits before. I'd tell you that biting nipples can be risky, but it looks like you have no front teeth.

*edit* hahahaha

I was just on myspace checkin out someones music page. Some asian girl posted this on dudes page. Prooves a point as far as money.

"went shopping today :] It wasnt that fun though. i was babysitting my nephew the whole freakin time x[ i didnt even get to buy anything. but my mom did give me $100 :] if im lucky one of my brothers will come home and i can maybe bribe them into buying me a ticket"

A hundred fucking dollars from mommy to buy nothing at all.

There are poor kids out there that deserve to have clothes. While this kid complains like a spoiled brat.

Asians are so spoiled. Yeah that's me being jealous. So what. I'm jealous because it ain't right.

I feel you. No matter how bad our economy is, we still have more than other countries. I'm not singling you out. I know you're probably not those racist white dudes. But I just wanted to point out that the privilage does exist. Usually outside the bay especially.
