Real baseball fans know that regular season and playoffs are different. You can shorten your rotation for one.. you can throw the same 3-4 guys at them in a series.. guys are streaky during the regular season but go cold during the playoffs when it matters (Phillies for example).
I have a very good feeling about playing and beating the Phillies if and when we make it to the playoffs. We have their number, and I bet if we beat them again Phillies fans will just say it was luck (again) although we know if luck were real it's a one time deal..
The difference between The Giants and The Phillies is that we know everyone doubts us and we like to prove them wrong, every season since 2008 The Phillies are the "paper Champs" or "Chumps" for lack of a better term.. every year they get super hyped up but choke up come playoffs, prime example: 2010 NLCS.
