The reports of weddle bein the highest paid is false...

He ain't even the highest paid in the DIVISION, that award goes to sophomore player outta KC, Eric Berry. I believe HE is the highest paid in the NFL wit like a 5 or 6 year 63 mil or some shit like that.

I just found that out today too. So the reporters on NFL network were wrong.

Either way, dude got a shit load of money that surprised a lot of people. Polamalu is gonna get a FAT contract when it's his time.

If he does it will be a mistake by whoever gives him that fat contract. He is 30 years old. Not sure when his contract is up, but paying a 30+ year old saftey fat money is not smart.

If you say so. The thing that makes Troy so good is his quickness. Safeties and corners are like point guards, once they lose that extra half step, they never get it back and their productivity drops.

I'm not saying he still can't play, or even be better than average, I'm just saying I wouldn't give him a fat paycheck in the Weddle/Berry..

LOL @ the chargers creeping up on anybody! every year they are a heavy favortie to make a run at the Super Bowl. Whenever a team has a QB in his prime that is a top 5 QB or maybe even top 3 its impossible to creep up on anyone.

KrazeeRDM probably will say "watch out everyone next year the Miami Heat are going to creep up on everyone without nobody noticing" KILL YOURSELF!

AJ isn't playing around this year. It's practically unheard of for him to sign free agents, I think he's going for broke! I like the signings. Inside linebacker worries me, I would like a veteran receiver to line up across from VJ. we'll have to wait and see who vets cut. I wouldn't mind trading a third round pick for Steve Smith either, but I'm not sure what Carolina is asking for!
