Oh and tryin catching a ball thats hit right back to you even harder than the pitch was thrown. Baseball is probably one of the hardest sports to play. That may be why some of ya'll dont like it.

Listen, I've played baseball from the age of 5 through 19.

I was scouted by colleges at 14, been on the front page of newspapers, offered a spot on an international ambassadors team, and have set a couple home run records.

You can call it boring and even "not a sport" if you've never played, but unless you've played in some capacity AND you were good enough to gain recognition in some way, then you're just going off what you view as entertainment.

It takes a distinct amount of muscle memory, lots of hand-eye coordination, and quick reflexes to survive on the baseball field.

Chances are if you don't have those in tow when you hit the field, you're one of many people who grow up to hate the sport of baseball.

I am good. I'll never deny my abilities or hold back any opinion I have on how good I am. i worked my ass off all those years to be good and better than most people.

I hit a ball over 500 feet during practice, and a couple weeks later hit a ball well over 400 feet only a couple of inches above the center field fence line. That ball was moving so fast that it bounced off the plate glass window of the building behind the field and everyone thought I shattered it.

Does the fact that Tiger Woods has won so much bullshit make golf any more interesting?

yeah i never watched golf or played a golf video game till tiger. Now i love it.
So you "love" golf now because of Tiger Woods? Did he make some changes to the rules or basic layout of the game that I don't know about? Or is he just playing the same boring game that old white guys have been playing for hundreds of years?

It's the same boring game, regardless of what a person might or might not have won while playing it.

Just because LDS could hit a fuckin' homerun once in a while doesn't make an MLB baseball game any more or less interesting. And on the note of "if you can't play it than that's probably why you don't like it"... If that's the case, why is NASCAR so popular? I don't know many people who can drive 150 in circles against 50 other dudes every day, but they fill seats.

I can't even stand on a skateboard, but I'll watch every second of the X-Games.

Stupid argument.

Some things just aren't worthy of being televised, regardless of how fun they are to do. Golf may be fun to play, but WATCHING a guy hit a ball with a crooked stick then walk after it is FAR from entertaining. I say pick the fucking thing up, you're lucky you found it! YOU'RE A WINNER! (sorry, Carlin moment) PLAYING baseball requires skills and can be fun but is boring as fuck to watch on tv. I mean come on even baseball highlights are boring. Now if only they added landmines to the outfield....

Yes he is doing something different. Hes an overall better player than we have ever seen. Why would i not watch something that is gonna make history?

Baseball is just not for everyone. You are saying baseball is boring is a fact. While many people think that way, many people also love it and its not a fact but an opinion.

im just a huge sports fan so this is pointless.
