McKenzie will fix a few things, but y'all ain't going nowhere next season as long as Hue Jackson is the HC ..
you think McKenzie is gonna fire him? I say no....but you just never know if he would..
I still say Hue is the one to blame for everything... Al Davis had him in check and the team was on the right path, he passed away and Hue took over and made ugly changes...
I thought that shit was gonna be the raiders downfall in the season and I was right about it..
the Palmer trade was horrendous and a waste ... Bringing in Houshyomama and getting rid of Hagan was another big mistake.
Even the receivers y'all have right now are not happy with Palmer, there's no chemistry between them at all..
I really don't know if McKenzie will keep Hue or not. I've heard nothing but good things about him, so I would trust his opinion either way.
As far as Hue goes, he didn't do the best job, but he didn't dot he worst either. We lost our starting QB and arguably our best player in McFadden for the season... he still got that offense to be relatively productive (we were something like 10th overall int he league). We gave up too much for Palmer, yes... but if we didn't make the trade... we'd probably end up with no more than 6 wins, and wouldn't even have a shot at the playoffs. The biggest problem I have with the Palmer situation is the way Hue handled it with Campbell. I think he lightweight disrespected Campbell, which may have caused the friction in the locker room with WRs.
Anyways, give Palmer an entire training camp and offseason and training camp to prepare. If he still throws as many picks, then we can judge him.
and as far as the Housyamama trade... come on breh... you act like Hagan was lighting it up out there. He didn't do anything for us. Neither did TJ, so that trade was basically a wash. It made sense to bring in a vet that had experience with Palmer though.
