I ain't gonna lie, RM is making some great moves...looks like he's keeping some solid players and gonna bring in some other solid ones to fill in the holes...but I still say the Raiders see a playoffs in 2 years and win a SB in 3..

Guess I hated on Reggie a little too soon. DB position needed some new faces. Not to take anything away from Chris Johnson, but it's hard to keep your mind on football after your mom and sister have been shot.

Not saying this cuz its the raiders, but I hate the way teams can.restructure contracts. Why even have a salary cap. You can essentialy sign someone to a billion dollar contract and circumvent the cap the next year.

For real though, talk about tragedy. Johnson was decent too. Kind of bummer to let him go, but I would think whoever we pick up would outplay him.

and some of you guys didn't wanna give Reggie a chance early on because he wasn't a good speaker... c'mon son!

I tried to tell yall early on hiring Reggie was the best move the team has made in YEARS

it's gonna take a couple years before he can really get the team to where he wants it... but it's starting, just gotta clean up some of the mess first... the Raiders will be back

damn, I'm thinkin bout coppin season tickets too

I just bought a house, so I'm trying to be cool with my money right now, but shit... $260 is nothin, even $360 is nothin

Last year I went to 5 of 10 total home games (including preseason) and probably dropped around $260 on that. I mean a couple games I was coppin last minute tickets, spending $75 to sit on Mt. Davis.

OAKLAND (FNN Media) — Divorce is seeming more and more likely for the Oakland Raiders and Kamerion Wimbley.

The two sides have not made progress in restructuring his contract, nor does he appear willing to take a pay cut.

The latest on contract talks between Wimbley and the Raiders? No talks at all.

“No outgoing calls and no incoming calls,” his agent, Joe Linta, told Jerry McDonald of the Oakland Tribune.

Wimbley will be due an additional $17.5 million in guaranteed money if he is on the Raiders roster on March 17.

NFLPA records indicate his base salary for 2012 would be $11 million. However, McDonald reported the actual salary was actually $4.5 million.

Regardless, it’s a lot of money for the Raiders to spend as they continue to make room under the cap.

The team recently restructured the contracts of a host of players including Richard Seymour, Carson Palmer and Michael Huff.

Another handful of players have been released, including highly paid cornerback Stanford Routt as well as Chris Johnson.
