Golden State's Anthony Randolph is indeed available via trade, as numerous reports suggested this week, but NBA front-office sources indicate that the Warriors are trying much harder to move Corey Maggette.

A sure way to snag Randolph, then, would be taking Maggette in the same deal. That's clearly the Warriors' hope.

The issue there, though, is that Maggette has three years left on his contract after this season at $30.8 million, courtesy of one of Chris Mullin's last acts as Warriors GM. A team would have to really like Randolph and believe it can finally reach him to take on Maggette as well, especially in this economy.

Obviously no one is untouchable on a 7-18 team, but sources with knowledge of the Warriors' thinking say that their willingness to move guards Monta Ellis, Stephen Curry and Anthony Morrow has been overstated. None of them are being "shopped," sources said Friday, although it seems safe to suggest that the Warriors would eventually have to part with at least one of them to land the bruising power forward -- such as Carlos Boozer or David West -- they lack and covet.

Warriors forward Vladimir Radmanovic said the boos aimed at him Wednesday night were harsh. But he understands.

"As harsh as it is, I can't really blame them," said Radmanovic, who was 0-for-8 from the field in a 103-91 home loss to San Antonio. "I understand how they feel. I feel the same way. If I could boo, I would do the same. But it's not going to help."

But what will help Radmanovic rediscover his shot? What will get sharpshooting guard Anthony Morrow going? The Warriors, who enter tonight's game against Washington having lost eight of nine, certainly need them to get going.

In the past six games, including the recent five-game road trip, Radmanovic and Morrow are both shooting below 28 percent from the field.

wizards are a bad team too, but we have only have 1 center... and he's not very good yet but he shoulda got more minutes--- chris hunter.

i hope we get another injury exception and sign another big man.

we need someone to protect the rim and grab boards.

curry made his first 5 or 6 shots and had career high, he's gonna keep getting better and become an all star caliber player. he's a complete player and will be an elite point guard.

In the long run, who do you think will be the better player, Ellis or Curry?
ellis is a better athlete and more dominant.

curry will be a great player but will he improve at the rate ellis does?

its pretty ridiculous how ellis improved every year, and out of high school.

that doesnt mean curry wont be as good, but they are different style players.

curry is a more cerebral player that cant just run by most people like ellis does. but he does have some moves, and is a complete point guard. he has better vision, passing, and defense then anyone knew about. the defense is the most surprising piece of his game as most rookies dont have good defense, especially when they lack nba strength.

right now ellis is better but curry will be great too, his offense will keep improving as he keeps adjusting to the nba. they both need to turn the ball over less, but its tough when ur the other teams main focus and the refs dont respect you.

not having a center hurts both players a lot, they dont have anyone to drive and drop it to, which will add assists to both of them. and it leaves no one to protect the rim, which both guys need as they both go for steals.

in the end, they will both be great, ellis already is. the things ellis has done this year have been amazing. especially his defense, he has guarded the other teams best player, usually someone much bigger than him. like danny granger, carmelo, durant, kobe... there arent many point guards that can even stay with those players and ellis bothered and slowed most of them down. he even shut down brandon roy.

curry will be good but never as good as brandon jennings who we should have taken
u dont know that. curry has better passing and defense, his scoring isnt as good as jennings yet. but it will probably end up being better. curry led the nation in scoring on a terrible team. he will adjust and his shots will start dropping. he has taken his time to earn his right to shoot, u can tell he feels like as a rookie he should defer to other players first on the team. but he's getting more and more comfortable and realizing we need him to score.

jennings is more advanced right now because he went overseas last year and played better competition so he was more nba ready.

Why would we trade randolph to get rid of magette....Do we not want him that bad....Magette sucks but not bad enough to give up randolph to make a deal more attractive......This team is a damn mess....
