hes look fluid running threw the tackles..and he waits for the blockers...he hasnt seen the wholes mcfadden has yet...when mcfaddens blockers break down he looks lost...

i said midway threw the PRE-season that Mcfadden wouldnt be in the running for the OROY....i stand by it...he might pull some good numbers in some games but hes going to be lost when oaklands o-line gets manhandled...

where you looking?.....lendale was only listed as the starters on FISHERS depth chart this last game against houstan....

Chris Johnson got the first carry against Jax and Cinci.....
I was getting stats from espn.com and that's where it's listed.

BTW, Oakland doesn't have an offensive line. LOL

that zone blocking scheme has helped your o-line!...they may lack the talent and fundamentals but they have knowelege of how to make a running game produce...

our zone blocking doesnt look nearly as good as the raiders right now...once my team can start understanding it a lil more our RBs are going to do even better...we have extremly talented young tackles that put up with some of the best PASS rushers of the game...

Lendale's listed as the starter, which is why I used him. And Hall hasn't really proven anything, either. He has 4 rushes for 10 yards. But I'll take your word on that...

And how exactly do you measure Chris Johnson's vision being ''years ahead of McFadden's at this point'', anyways?
FB's in the NFL get measured by the blocking ability and short yardage success, not how many yards they have or their YPC.

Detroit (Kevin Smith = 29 carries, 102 yds, for a 3.5 avg.)
New Orleans (Reggie Bush, who's not an every down back, like Fargas, has 42carries, 152 yds, for a 3.6 avg.)
Kansas City (Larry Johnson = 58 carries, 217 yds, for a 3.7 avg.)
Cincinnati (Chris Perry = 60 carries, 180 yds, for a 3.0 avg.)
Cleveland (Jamal Lewis = 44 carries, 156 yds for a 3.5 avg.)
Tennessee (Lendale White = 49 carries, 148 yds, for a 3.0 avg.)

Justin Fargas: 27 carries, 140 yds, for a 5.2 avg.

But it's a matter of opinion. I feel he could start on those teams.
He might get significant playing time in Detroit but he would'nt start...he wouldshare the load but not be the featured back....If he went to KC he's sittin the bench....Period....He's not starting over LJ....Get fuckin real....I don't care how slow LJ's season is starting out......Cincinati is a toss up.....Bush may not be the every down type of back but neither is Fargas.....The closest he would become a starter in NO is if him and Bush slit carries with Bush getting slightly more then him and u know it.....he would'nt start over Jamal lewis either....Please be realistic.....Lendale White is not the starting back for the Titens....there rookie is.....And ur throwing up stats from the first 3 games of the seasion like that holds any real wieght.....Barry Sanders had a combined total of like 53 yards in the first 2 games of the 1998 season but ended up busting for 14 str8 100 yard games and hit 2000 yards.....So I guess if Fargas was playing back then he coudl of took Barrys spot after week 2 right? Man jsut quit while ur ahead.....My points are alot more balid and I'm light years ahead of u when it comes to the sport of football.

I understand what you're saying, but how far into his career does it have to be? He's unproven to YOU, fine...but he can't change the fact that it's only the beginning of his ROOKIE season. He's doing what he should SO FAR. He's a rookie who's 7th in the league in rushing.

And that list?

Reggie Bush is 29th, Joseph Addai is 37th, Maurice Jones-Drew is 39th...

And what exactly has Reggie Bush proven, as a RB in this league? His career average is 3.7 ypc.
How far does he have to be.....Alot farther then 3 games to earn the title "Beast". 7th in the NFL after 3 games aint shit...cut it out.....I can feel what ur saying about Bush to an extent....I honestly think that te Saints misuse him as a running back....He should be getting more pitches and draws.....Other then that he's cool IMO.......And stop throwing numbers up cuz it don't show verything.....look @ the impact these players show......I guees when Kurt Warner threw 41 td's that automatically made him the best qb in the nfl right?

ROFL @ THAT!

What stats should I use? I'm basing my arguement on stats, and the fact that Lewis and Johnson are no where near the backs they were in the past. A young, fresh back would send them to the bench real, real quick...especially if they continue to put up numbers like they have so far. I'm not going to get into "i know more than u'' like you love to do so much; this isn't gangster rap 101, so you can keep your ''crown'' as ''All Knowing Sire", if you'd like. lol. It's not that serious, but if you can't have a discussion without crying about knowing more than someone else about something, or accept someone's opinion on a matter, you're in the wrong forum. Your ''balid points'' are nothing but OPINIONS; there's no PROVEN FACT behind them. My points are all OPINION, too, which is why I can accept yours.

And I never said that Fargas is a better back than Johnson or Lewis WAS, but right now, he's up there, due to their DECLINE. Those backs most likely will never see another 1,000 yard season.

As far as Bush goes, I agree 100%; they'd split carries, but I don't think Bush would get the majority of them. It'd be close, but I'd take Fargas on about 60% of the plays, with him being a better between the tackles runner than Bush, by far.

I understand that; I was making small talk about a back I'm not familiar with.
hes a true "old" fullback...and before he got injured he was catching hella balls in the preseason...

he is one of the best FBs in the leauge IMO...our running game wouldnt be the same without em and that proved last year after he got injured.....

Yeah, well, like it's been said; you have a big, solid fullback in Lendale if he keeps on that All-You-Can-Eat buffet diet. Or you can borrow ours, Jamarcus Russell.

You've used the ''beast'' line with me quite a few times; I've never used that term, and never said he was anywhere close to ''beast status'', whatever the hell that is.

I have said I believe he has the potential to be a top-5 back in this league SOON. That doesn't mean 4:42 into the SD game on Sunday. The next couple of years, maybe. Depending on what happens (good or bad) to the rest of the offense (WR's, line, Russell's ''''''progress'''''')...

LOL

You don't know what I watch. I watch games every week; it's been the case for at least 15+ years. So what?

And I checked to see who the Titans starter was because I wasn't sure if it was Johnson or White.

I'm throwing up YPC and various STATS to show that some of these RB Gods of yours ARE NOT PRODUCING this year. Period. So because you say Jamal Lewis is a great back, he is? Numbers show otherwise. And when it comes down to it, production > > > your opinion.

I'm not crying i'm just doing some old fashoined shit talking......Thats all....McCallister got the majority of the carries over Bush in NO cuz he's a every down back....Fargas is not so don't be so sure.....I'm not even saying who's the better back as well but Fargas would not start over those guys....He would definitly get alot of playing time cause he's a decent back but he would'nt start over LJ or Lewis....The Ravens thought Lewis was declining but look waht he ended up doing last year..

Look @ Fargas track record.....He transfered from Michigan for whatever reason.....He started @ SC his last 2 years but had to share playing time with Sultan McCullough who IMO was the better college back.....He comes to Oakland and backs up Jordan who was a back up his entire career until Oakland picks him up.....He only became a starter cuz Jordan turned into a bitch.....He played very well the second half of the season and all the raider fans get juiced thinking he's the next Nepolean Kaufman.....Now this year the Raiders draft a couple of backs to compete for Fargas job....If he was so great they would'nt of drafted anyone in the first round to compete with him....They would of addressed other areas like they should have......D-Mac is a good pick IMO....And thats only cuz Fargas is alot more mortal then u guys want to beleive.

None of those backs I named I claimed as Gods.....Darren Sproles would take any back on the Raiders spot IMHO.

I don't think Justin Fargas is a great back; never said so. But you've also said he was only good in the second half of last season. Fine, but 1000 yards is still 1000 yards.

And the Raiders didn't draft McFadden or Bush because Fargas can't start; they drafted them because we are the Oakland Raiders, who've drafted Robert Gallery @ #2, passing over Larry Fitzgerald, Sean Taylor, Ben Roethlisberger, Phillip Rivers, amongst others. Also, we took Michael Huff @ #7, when we could have addressed our QB needs with Matt Lienert or Jay Cutler. That is why we did it. LOL.
