Steve Wisniewski, former Raider Guard and 8x Pro Bowler joined the Raiders coaching staff as an assistant Offensive Line Coach. True Raider fans remember him from the loud chants in the Coliseum of "Newwwwwwwwwwwwwwww". He was a beast, hope he can help get Jason Campbell some damn protection.

love this move.. always good to have former raider greats around.. and he's jus an assistant oline coach so we should be getting someone else who is experienced since I don't believe Steve has any coaching experience.. hopefully we can get his nephew Stefen Wisnewski from penn state

I read he was a strength and conditioning coach for Jim Harbaugh over at Stanford last year. I think that was his first year. So that is not much experience as a coach. Like you said though, having a Raider great around to help mold those guys is a good thing. 8x Pro bowler as a guard... thats a bad ass mother fucker. He was also selected to the NFL 1990s all Decade team.

Who the fuck is going to run the defense though?

Raiders need to keep their picks. And I don't think they are giving up on Campbell. I highly doubt we even attempt to grab a QB. Raiders need to make some moves to get some better draft picks.

Campell only helped us win 3 more games from the previous years record when we went 5-11. they need to jump on the oppurtunity to get Kolb.

I think Kolb would be great to get but the only way I see that being worthwhile is if we give up Campbell for a pick.
There is no way we are going to play fight for the starting spot with 2 QBs such as Campbell and Kolb.
I think we should try and find a good QB in the draft next year, try to set up a good early pick.
Kolb is going to be to expensive anyways.

The Raiders need a vet WR for sure. Chaz is the oldest right?
If they lose Aso then we need another vet CB as well.
I think this is going to be one hell of a season for the Raiders. I am really happy with all the coaching moves made as of yet.
Both DC options are over in Green Bay, the 5th ranked D, so I'll take that.
