yeah i know all this but it was his time. it's not his fault that his time of reign was over mostly bums. he did so much for the ufc that knowone will ever give him credit for and he had a good run where he was LHW so i dont think you can call him overrated by anymeans. now if this was a htread about overrated people in general i wouldnt disagree but in his time as champ tito did what he had to do.

I'm so sick of tired of So-called MMA know it all that wants to bash other people’s opinions of who they think is overrated. Shamrock, Royce Gracie, and the rest of the forefathers of MMA will never be overrated because they are the guys that set the bar in which fighters are judged by today. Plus if you were a champion in UFC back in the day there was no weight limits, no time limits, and you fought multi times in the same night. I have been watching MMA since UFC 1 Shamrock vs. Royce fighting for the 1st time. So please shut the fuck up with your I know everything about MMA attitude. You don't have to agree with anyone’s opinion, but in no way are you the be all end all of MMA knowledge my friend. Just state your opinion or counter comment without all the MMA know it all bullshit.
I think both Tito and Liddell are overrated. One big reason is because I'm sick of Joe Rogan nut hugging both guys everytime they fight or fought like they are gods of MMA. Another reason is that both guys were managed by Dana White before he became the man at UFC, so you know both guys had a easy road in UFC. But hey what do I know, because I have a different opinion then you and you know everything about MMA. Lol.. people had no idea what BJJ was when ufc started and once people figured it out royce wasnt as good as he was. but still IN HIS TIME he was dominant and you can never take that away from him. i'm not bashing an opinion at all i just think your misunderstanding the subject of the thread. i hate that rogan nut hugs both tito and chuck and i especially hate that chuck gets nuthugged by everyone still. but in there time they won, it's not there fault of they faced bums or whatnot even though chuck didnt AT ALL. no1 has ever held the belt longer than either chuck or tito. and again by how you're coming with your argument then you have to say Wandi is overrated. IMO wand is a bit overrated now because people remember oldschool wanderlei. i think that happens to everyone in who was at such a high place in ranks and is declining.
people like forrest griffin is the type of people who can be considered overrated in there time. he had like 1 good year then nothing and they still give him praise and highend fights. people like chuck spent years on the top finishing the best at that time in his organization. was chuck overrated for the last year of his career? i think so. but was he overrated for his time? not at all.
