Oh yeah I watch Basketball enough to know that... Nash is surrounded by talent.
Leandro Barbosa from Brazil. He "leads" the league in 3 point field goal percentage shooting a wopping 45%. The man can shoot... that is talent. Nash can get him the ball but it's Barbosa that is shooting 45%.
Raja Bell is currently 5th in the league... shooting the 3 pointer at 43%.
Eddie House leads the league in 3 field goals made per game at 4 per 48 minutes.
Boris Diaw is currently 3rd in the league in triple doubles.
Damn I didn't even mention Sean Marion, Tim Thomas...
Now ask yourself... do you even watch basketball? Nash can easily dish out 11 assist per game because he's surrounded by players that can shoot the ball. That's talent... Can we say the same for the Lakers? Can Kobe dish out 11 assist and still win?

You're giving Nash way too much credit. It's on these players to make themselves better.... on a side note... The Phoenix Suns lead the league in scoring as a team (108 points per game). So it's not just Marion and Nash. It's their whole squad. Nash has a lot to do with their success but give credit to the players that Nash is playing with. The Suns are loaded.
He was passing the ball in that game... the team was down 18 points to the Raptors. What was he supposed to do keep passing the ball and getting whooped? Or take over like an MVP should and win the game by scoring for the team? You're missing the point... he had to score 81 points to bring his team back. If the man is on a hot shooting streak, give him the ball.
Let's not move on. Like I said the Suns are loaded with talented cats that can shoot... if you watched the Suns smash the Mavericks last night you'll know that I am talking about. Here's a breakdown on their 3 point shooting.

So as a "team" they shot 16-24 wich is 67%. Yes Nash had 13 assist but how can he not have that many assist when those shooters are on fire like that? All he has to do is create and dish... Give the shooters credit for knocking down shots. Nash can't make shots for them.

That's what people can't seem to understand. For someone to get credited with an assist, the person they passed to has to knock down their shot. So what does that mean when Kobe passes the ball and Luke Walton, or Sasha Vujacic or anyone else misses their shot? That's right, no assist counted. Does that mean he didn't pass the ball? No, it means they didn't make their shot.
He CREATS shots for his team mates...just cus you can DISH a ball...does that mean the other guy is open???NO.Anyone can knock down a shot when youre WIDE open....

The crap is cut mayne.... Nash does create open looks for his teammates (like a point guard should). But he gets no assist if his teammates don't knock their shots down. You're giving Nash way too much credit. Give credit to their GM and coach too for assembling this squad.
Check the stats again... if Nash didn't miss two 3 pointers they would of shot over 70% from the three point line. And before Raja Bell came to Phoenix his scoring average was increasing anyway.... check the stats mayne.

I never said they have 5 stars on their team... I said Nash is surrounded by talented 3 point shooters which makes his job easier. You're giving Nash way too much credit talking about Nash makes them better. Nash can ball don't get me wrong. He does get them open looks... but stop taking away the fact that these cats can shoot.
