yep. Who do you guys have in the first round??

I'll pick Froch over Dirrell because I really haven't seen much at all of Dirrell.

Abraham over Taylor by 12th round KO

And Ward over Kessler by SD in a shocker!

Side Note:

Didn't realize Abraham wasn't gay, his wife is pretty hot

Probably because Abraham is pretty popular there, he'll have no problem selling out that arena (over 15,000). I doubt Taylor could sell out any arena in the US at this point, or any point of his career really.

What I'm surprised about is Andre Ward will be fighting Kessler in Oakland if I'm not mistaken. Kessler is HUGE in Denmark and Ward has a small, but growing base in the US. He got pretty lucky if it's truly going to be in Oakland.

The Ward-Kessler fight will be @ The Oracle in November!

That's hella dope, and props for these guys going into enemy territory !

My picks: Abraham by decision, and Ward by decision

Let's go Andre ! I'm gonna try to go to that fight if the undercard is at least half way decent !

Kessler is a bad mofo man, he aint 41-1 for nothin. I'm pulling for Ward all the way (and Dirrell) but I wouldn't put any money on it. Being in Oakland will definitely give Ward some confidence though, as I dont think he's ever fought outside of California, much less Denmark.

Kessler is favored to win the whole thing right?

Honestly, I think he or Abraham pose the biggest threats. Abraham in Germany is a damn tough fight. Props to Jermain for taking that.

I honestly think Ward has the tools to out box Kessler. But IMO, he got the toughest test off the bat.

Yeah kessler is favored to win it all.

Abraham is pretty damn good too, shit so is Froch. All them are good! That's whats great about this tournament, they all have a real shot a winning.

I agree Ward has the tool to beat Kessler, the only problem we've never seen him fight anyone as good and he lacks the experience that Kessler has. I like Dirrell too, from what I've seen (which isn't much) he might be the best boxer of them all.

After going over it in my head .. I'm picking Andre Dirrell. That's right, Andre Dirrell. I've always thought Dirrell would beat Ward when they were coming up so I think he'll take that fight. I got him boxing Froch's face off and outworking Abraham who I just feel is too inactive to win the tournament unless he fights all his fights in Germany.

Dirrell Vs. Kessler/Taylor I think are gonna be his toughest matchups style wise in this tournament.

Showtime is really steppin' their game up with this. They are set to do their own "24/7" type of reality show for the Super Six....Fuck I need showtime.

Showtime To Launch Boxing Reality Series `Fight Camp 360' To Follow Boxers In Super Middleweight Tourney

By R. Thomas Umstead

Showtime will debut a new boxing reality series Oct. 10 that will follow the lives of the fighters participating in the network's upcoming super middleweight boxing tournament.

Fight Camp 360: Inside The Super Six World Boxing Classic will chronicle the path of six boxers - International Boxing Federation middleweight champion Arthur Abraham (Germany); Andre Dirrell (United States); World Boxing Council super middleweight champion Carl Froch (England); World Boxing Association super middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler (Denmark); former middleweight champion Jermain Taylor (U.S.); and Olympic gold medalist Andre Ward (U.S.) - as they battle each other over the length of the tournament, according to Ken Hershman, senior vice president and general manager of Showtime Sports.

Each boxer will fight three bouts against different opponents over a nearly two-year span within the round-robin elimination tournament. The winners of each bout will receive two points, earning one point for fights ending in a draw.

The each episode of the six-part series -- produced by Showtime and NFL Films -- will air around a week prior to a tournament fight, according to Hershman. The introductory episode will outline how the tournament came about as well as chronicle the training camps of the fighters participating in the Oct. 17 doubleheader card featuring the Froch/Dirrell and Taylor/Abraham fights.

"You'll get to see in true form the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat, but then also the regrouping and the coming back of the fighters for the next group stage where they'll have the opportunity to continue on in the tournament," Hershman said.

I think there are enough quality welterweights to do a welterweight version of this. Mayweather, Mosley, Williams, Margarito, Cotto, Clottey.

That would be legendary, but the Super Middleweight on is dope as fuck.

^^half those guys wouldn't participate though, or at least mayweather & margarito (probably shane too & P-Will who knows if he'll be back at 147, andre berto could fill in).

I'd be in favor of a lightweight tournament:

Joan Guzman, Ali Funeka, Edwin Valero, Juan Manuael Marquez (if he goes back to 135, which he may not), Katsidis, Anthony Peterson (Paulus Moses could step in if Marquez couldn't make it, or Casamayor, or Alex Arthur, Urbano Antillion, John Murray, etc the division is so deep).
