but if everything niggas is doin is weak, then i guess we can say the same about shit like, neighborhood music, lean like a cholo, summer nights or what ever... shit i can keep goin.. i dont think if ever heard a latino on the radio and said to my self, "ooooooh, thats a bump"
No shit that crap is weak. I never said I only like all Chicano Rap, just because it's Chicano and I'm Mexican. There's a lot better shit than that though, like Conejo especially. I prefer black rap, just not new black rap. I don't think there's anything wrong with saying that. I'm just saying you guys are acting wierd. Back then you guys were more respectable & kept it real (it was more universal), now you guys are just making fools out of yourselves, creating silly dance moves, making silly thizz faces, snapping fingers, cmon homie, you can't tell me that shit isn't gay. It's weak, watered down, bullshit compared to all the oldschool 90's ish. It has no soul, nothing. Even the new clothing is fucking wack IMHO, fucking pocka dots n shit all over the shirts, big ass retarded hoodies with medallions on them, fucking bug eyed shades,etc.... It's all exaggerated shit. I have NOTHING against blacks, but it just seems like their evolving into some wierd shit, I just don't get it. I'm talking about the Youth of course, since there's a lot of OG cats keeping it real still. And as far as whites, asians, even Latinos, of course they going to jump on the bandwagon, but the real fools who really take a good look at this new rap movement, we think otherwise, whether Mexican, white, asian, black,... Heck I know plenty of blacks who think this new shit is wack. It just ain't right. Yet for some odd reason, people keep allowing this wack trend to continue. And the only reason I mention race is because YOU guys are the ones running this shit, therefore that's the only way I can distinguish you guys.

You gotta realize... this is like the younger cats version of bell bottoms, or jherri curls and rayon, or tight as 501's creased so hard u could cut yourself... this is a kid thang.. The funk generation wasn't feelin the new jack swing of the early 90's.. And were bassically the "g funk/mob music" generation and I'm not feelin most of their shit..

But still, that's what they call theirs. So I respect there art they are creatin and let it be...

But how can u say pullin a driveby and killin errything we see keepin it realer then what's goin on now?? At least now they are actually belivable because the youngsters do pop thizz and go to clubs.. Most every raper from the 90's was lien on track majority of the time and speakin of what they see on tv bro.. That aint keepin it real.

Fuck it dog, I ain't gonna trip no more.

Anyways, check out my new beat I just made. Brings that oldschool funky vibe. See it's beats like this that can bring upon real lyrics, real story telling lyrics, real Hiphop. No BS. But whatever, if they want to dance all erratic, talk about leaning it and rocking it, so bit it, fuck it.

When I say real, what I mean is their keeping it true to their roots and true to Hiphop. Of course they exaggerate about killing and all that, but it's still Hiphop at it's best form, musically and lyrically. It's all bullshit now. I would rather hear about caps getting peeled, then hear about ghost riding your whip. Of course they may be exaggerating about all the killing in their songs, but a lot of them are just rapping about what goes on, doesn't mean they killed,etc... They just telling the stories from their hoods. I'd rather listen to a story, whether fictional or not, then listen to a song that only talks about money, rims, grillz or some other bullshit material good. It's pure BS these days, that's all I'm saying, whether Hyphy or not. Atleast some artists do keep it true to hiphop. I would rather hear some controversial shit, than the sillyness that's going on right now.

And as far as me being a racist, if that makes you feel better, then so be it. I'm just speaking the truth. Shit is WACK, whether black, brown, yellow,white,....

LOL, just be YOURSELF, man. Good luck in life and good luck with the Hyphy movement. I don't truely HATE hyphy, I just don't like it. To me it's not real Hiphop, it's more like Dance-Hop or some ish.

Rap don't lead my life anyways. It's just music. Well atleast to me, the real musical aspect, piano, guitars, basslines, strings, all that good shit is pretty much gone. The beats are well, all synthetic. You don't even hear singing anymore on hooks or staccato rhythmic style of delivery such as Bone Thugs. To me, I just see no more soul in Rap. Whatever, if you like the state of rap right now, that's cool, I don't. It could be A LOT better. It's taken a step backwards, but for some odd reason you don't want to agree with that. It just ain't right the way it is atm and a lot of people feel the same.

lol, I don't have no strong feelings about this. I'm just saying, it's wack and that's it. You can't force me to like it. Believe me, I already tried, but I just can't comprehend it. For me it all starts with the sound of the music (it changed SO drastically), I can't understand why people like certain sounds in their music. It's kind of ironic because I knew a lot of people back then who were into hiphop would bag on house, trance, all that techno shit, yet now days, their incorporating those same elements. I like to hear real instruments, or atleast real skills where you can hear the soul of it, the slap of the bass, the funky lead, the beauty of the piano/guitar,etc... I like the music to take me on a ride, kinda euphoric feeling if you know what I mean. For me the sound of the music is just as important as the lyrics. I personally don't always want to hear a wild dance tracks, track after track. There has to be a balance, back then there was everything, hiphop tracks for different purposes and moods. Keep doing your thing though, whatever. If it makes you happy, then keep doing it. Hope you make your money too, if D4L and Mike Jones can do it, anyone can.

here's a new beat:

Show me a track that doesn't sound Hyphy or have a Hyphy sound in it. Like I said, if I hear a sound in it that I don't like or some silly melody, I don't want to hear it. Back then it was pretty much all good music. Very good produced shit. Now I hear a fucking whistle n shit, cmon.

Anyways, I'm not just referring strictly to Hyphy. I'm referring to it all as a whole. The whole game is lame. Reason being for me, they changed the sound.
