that shit is funny, but can't you seriously hear a scrap saying that? it's not cheating, but it is almost unfair. even tho they have "strength" in numbers, it's still not fair in northern cali for them, but that would be so much worse. in reality, martial arts can be taught just as easily as doing group workouts in the yard, it's not like the homeboys on lock don't have the time

@miggidy what did you mean when you said boxers have to register their fists as deadly weapons? Do they literally gotta register their fists?

it's the same thing i was talking about with martial artists. it must not be in all states, but i thought i was mandated by every state that a black belt register themself as a deadly weapon. there have been lawsuits where a man got jumped, defended himself, and was sued as a result of beating the shit out of the guys who jumped him. you have to use minimum force to control the situation. same thing goes for me as an active duty military member. i can't sit there and beat the shit out of someone if they stop attacking me.

i have trained myself in everything i know, laugh all you want, but there are books good enough out there that let you know more than you need to know. i could go into a martial arts class and still really fuck someone up. but, i have studied jeet kun do primarily which consists of grappling, some boxing, kicking, among a few other things, a well rounded style. i have learned some wrestling too. i would get my ass beat by a wrestler, but if someone doesn't know how, they are in trouble. i know enough to maybe keep me alive in a ground fight with a grappler. i also use alot of elements from kung fu. i just bought a book on kempo's guide to advanced pressure point fighting. i don't rely on one style thought really. i take how the person is attacking me, and use it against themselves. i most often never hit someone first. that comes with just being diciplined through martial arts and it also has to deal with the certain styles i practice.

lol i have never heard of anyone having to register themselves because they were a blackbelt, that shit is only on tv. i am a fist degree black belt in aam-ka-jitsu and when it comes to self defense you are allowed to use equal force to defend yourself unless your life is in danger, if your life is in extreme danger then you can use lethal force for self defense, but if someone is fighting with their fists you are not allowed to shoot them, even if they have a knife, if they stab you, then you could probably get away with it.

by signing that paper saying you are a lethal weapon, that is saying you will use the minimum amount of force possible to control the situation. if someone attacks you, and you break their ankle, as long as they don't have a gun, you are expected to leave the scene ASAP, no one is going to chase you with a broken ankle. if they don't have a reason why they can't chase you, and they keep attacking you, you can keep messing them up.
