Ok, don't take it from me. Go ask any boxing trainer and they will tell you the same thing. You wanna keep your speed? Don't lift weights cuz the excess muscle only slows you down not to mention the fact that it wears you down.

He's never lifted any weights, just runs a few miles, sit ups, push ups, and hits the bags.
And look at him, he's got probably the best physique in boxing along with the stamina to go a full 12 rounds bouncing on his toes....
