Zero, you're my dude, and I know you dislike their music, but you have no clue about why this happened or what caused it, especially on the business side of things.

:devious:
Business runs the game... or at least it did with the rise of independents and distribution houses from major labels this is how good music is taking ovre the industry and just because its a new day for Strange and a new day for SS dosent mean either music is better their just different. And like tech says he stands by their music 110% and if he had not believed in them he wouldnt have signed them, there are alot of other artists in KC during that time he could have signed but Strange choose them, amd just because Tech's fans are young and white may conclude to why they can not appricate the realness of what the streets are about. But with it all they are boys and they are Family so support the music you love and respect and I know for me its both of them!
I've been waitin' for it.. and there it is.. the white kid comment. Obviously white kids can't "appreciate the realness of what the streets are about".
Dude, I don't know you and I don't want to start shit with another technician... . but fuck you. I'm tired of the whole white kid shit. I'm a 24 yr. old white guy, I must not have any street knowledge and no appreciation for street music. I'm 100% positive that I have more of an appreciation for ALL music, then most "minorities"(or "non-white people") have for street music. It's bullshit that it always comes down to color. I'm gonna quote the great IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE:
"they say all hip-hop fans are the color of talcum/well who the fuck you think bought 50 and Jay's album/who the fuck you think made Snoop and Dre platinum"
My point is, get off this race shit. Black and white, male and female, young and old... we all have musical appreciation. Don't try to make us seperate 'cuz you're so hood. :devious:

damn, can you ever have one post where you not talking shit?
Can you cup my balls while you suck me off?

If I come off as if I know a damn thing about the business side of things, I'm sorry... Because I'm really just talking out of my ass. At least as far as business dealings go. I still stand firm in saying that SS is god awful as far as music goes.

I've been waitin' for it.. and there it is.. the white kid comment. Obviously white kids can't "appreciate the realness of what the streets are about".
If you're waiting for white kid comments after 14 posts, you should check out the other forums on the sicc to humble yourself about this board.

Dude, I don't know you and I don't want to start shit with another technician...
Go back to the realtechn9ne.com forums.

I'm not trying to "beef" with you, I'm just saying that you clearly were anticipating and just foaming at the mouth for a reason to talk about race relations as it pertains to rap music.

14 posts in and you're trolling for race issues on the sicc? Dude, like I said... Check the open forum and talk to a guy named 2-0-Sixx. He'll keep you busy, and I won't have to bullshit with you on this forum.

Oh, and I don't "feel like" being an asshole, I just kind of am an asshole. At least that's how I come off to people who don't know better.

I'm not waiting or looking for race issues. I just keep finding them and I'm tired of people thinkin' different races know less about rap music because apparently NONE of us white folks are from the street. I can feel you on the asshole thing, 'cuz I am also called that on a daily basis just for speakin out. So, now I know how you are. Myabe I wont take things to heart so much...

BUT you have to admit my story was funny... sad and embarassing maybe... but still funny.

The reason you're finding race relations is because you're looking for them. Plain and simple.

And Tom, I'd tell you to get off your douche horse, but we both know that's moot. If it seems like I know anything about PR, it's because I do.

I'd insert a winking smiley to seal the deal on this post, but that's both homo and really an untrue assessment of how I actually feel. Get back to Call of Duty and call it a day on the sicc. Let's all hope this isn't Groundhog Day for Tom, and we get to play this over and over again.

I guess I'll have to stop expecting the race issue to come up.. and when it does, geez... just ignore it...

Your best bet is to learn the posting patterns of the users on this forum, and not look at it as race incited. For one thing, you don't know who's white or black on this forum. And if you're going by the way they spell words or use slang, then you're the one who's stereotyping.

I'm not stereotyping.. ^^that is stereotyping^^
I love music in general, rap/hip-hop especially. I just feel we "white boys" get descriminated against. I don't go lookin' for it, but if I see it it gets to me. I guess I got a chip on my sholder.

Also dude needs to figure out that MOST of the shit talking in here IS NOT PERSONAL. Its either all in fun, or its just a bad day. Theres RARELY hatred goin on around the siccness.

just how much "realness of the streets" do you have to understand to enjoy the boring, repetitive, played out sound of "gangsta" rap????

I'm not saying make music that everyone can relate to, but if your music sounds lazy and sounds like a million other records available, then what the fuck is the point
