Dana Dane am I right or wrong?

About twice a week I have to go to my job early to meet with my boss to do paperwork. We are scheduled to start work at 7 but sometimes she will call or text me 10 minutes before 7 while I'm there waiting in the parking lot to just go in at 8 instead (she is always late). Am I wrong for putting on my timesheet that I started at 7? I mean shit I showed up on time ready to work, and I had to sit there an extra hour because going back home would take an hour. I mean I ain't gonna snitch her out or anything, but I aint not gonna get paid WWDD?

Dear SDM
I need a recipe for whole grain rice, something that goes well with chicken
Smoky Brown Rice and Chicken

1 cup Natural Whole Grain Brown Rice
2 cooked chicken breasts sliced
2 cups broccoli florets
1 cup grated swiss cheese
1/2 cup green onions chopped
1/4 tsp. liquid smoke flavoring *this makes the recipe*

1. Cook rice according to package directions. When rice is done, add liquid smoke. Mix well.
2. Add broccoli, green onions and Swiss cheese.
3. Top with sliced, ready-to-eat chicken breast.
4. Put in the oven on 350 for 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

I dont make this often, cuz Age hates brown rice.

If its your boss who keeps making you miss out on that hour, why dont you holler at her and find out if its cool to put 7 down? If it aint cool, do you really want to lose your job over a few extra dollars? Also, you need to establish with her if you are working at 7 or 8, and make it stick. Its not cool for her to change your hours at the last minute. I would bet money that its against some Human Resources law.

Dear Siccness Den Mother.. im trying to make some spaghetti... but im trying to use some sweet sausage rather then regular ground beef... what do you think? any suggestions??

damn it.. looks like i will have to wait until tomorrow night to make spaghetti...

ps.... best way to make garlic bread????

I just remember all those funny recipes you did a while back...
Sorry chick! I was drunk yesterday!

Anyways, I use ground beef and italian sausage. If you buy the package of bulk italian sausage, its a lot easier to cook than the links. Any kind of ground meat will work though. Just depends on your taste.

The BEST bread in the world is the sweet crusty bagettes at Raleys. I use that for my garlic bread. Whatever you do, do not buy the ready to broil garlic bread, it never has enough flavor for me. What I do is melt a stick of butter and saute about 4 tablespoons of minced garlic. Split the bread down the middle, and coat generously with the melted butter and garlic. Broil until its brown and crusty, but watch it cuz the shit will burn in a heartbeat. If you wanna jazz it up a little bit, let it get almost brown, and then put a good healthy layer of shredded italian cheese on top and broil till the cheese melts.
