Have you even seen this guy? Or heard him speak? He's FAR from a Bryant Gumble.

You even had a Chiefs fan in this thread agree about his attitude.

whats funny about this ...is..

Jason Whitlock used to post in the Strange Music Forum a long long time ago..

you can prolly search and find his posts.

I bet no one knew that!?

anyway...Jason is the most publicized journalist we have in KC. He and Carl Peterson (Chiefs GM) hated eachother...im not sure about their relationshio now....but he is def not a "uncle Tom" character....he just speaks the truth in all shapes and forms.

No. I would never put myself in the open for criticism like that unless I truly believed what I was saying, whether I'm a fan or not. If you think I'm wrong, name a better back. I already stated why I feel he's better than LJ. LaDainian is the only one I know who is truly better than Frank Gore and there is no real debate or arguement there. Everyone else is debatable.

Frank led all RBs except Maurice Jones-Drew (5.7 YPC) in yards per carry, but Jones-Drew only carried he ball 166 times. His average probably would have dropped had he carried the full load. I know Norv's system helped him out a lot, but if you watch him play you know he gains a lot of his yards by bouncing off defenders and breaking tackles. If we get an OC in here who likes to run the ball, Frank will be just fine.

And you know this because....?

The guy works for the Kansas City Star. I'm sure he knows more about Larry Johnson than you do. I mean shit, I didn't even know he had an attitude problem. KC is far away from the Bay, so we don't get news like this around here. So unless you've been doing some serious research on LJ, I highly doubt you know more than someone who covers the Chiefs..

Personally, I think Frank Gore is better than LJ. I know you will dismiss that because I am a 49er fan, but as a runner and receiver, Frank Gore is better than LJ. Johnson had less than 100 rushing yards more than Frank Gore, while carrying the ball 104 more times. Had Frank carried 416 times like LJ, he would have had, according to his average, 2,256 yards.

LJ only averaged 4.3 yards per carry. Most top flight RBs average at or around 5 yards per carry.

My list:
1. LaDainian Tomlinson
2. Frank Gore
3. Larry Johnson

that's true. i somewhat agree with you on that list. and frank gore is my boy, but shit, he needs to chill with the fumbles.

I think the surgery he had on his shoulders last offseason contributed to the fumbles early on. If you notice, he worked very hard on that problem and for the most part he got it resolved as the season went on. He'll be fine.

That's because you're a raider fan and you are in denial. Just because he runs all over your whack ass squad twice a year doesn't mean shit. If Gore wasn't on the Niners your doubts wouldn't be so great, guaranteed. You just don't want to believe it.

Stephen Jackson? Tiki Barber? Give me a break. Pay attention to RBs before you make your inane* statements.

Tiki fumbles even more, and Steven Jackson can't catch the ball as well as gore. No one in the NFL had more 20+yard runs then GORE, not even LT or LJ had as many as he did. I believe he also led the league in broken tackles, and add to the fact that HE CARRIED THE BALL LESS, compared to LJ and LT. *Slap yourslef*

Yeah doofus...we're bestest buddies.

I'm not sticking up for him...you just seem to have no idea what you're talking about. And you're looking like an ass in the process.

NO. IT'S BECAUSE YOU'RE A NINER FAN AND YOU'RE BIASED. NOW WE CAN GO BACK AND FORTH WITH THIS SHIT ALL YOU WANT. IF FRANK GORE WAS NOT ON YOUR SQUAD YOU WOULD PROBABLY LOOK AT IT A LITTLE DIFFERENT.GORE HAS A WAYS TO GO BEFORE I WILL THROW HIM UP THERE WITH THE ELITE BACKS IN THE LEAGUE. HE'S A DOPE RB. # 2 IN THE LEAGUE BECAUSE OF ONE YEAR'S STATS? FUCK NO. LET'S SEE HOW HE DOES NOW THAT NORV IS GONE. LARRY JOHNSON IS A BEAST. PERIOD. END OF STORY. HE HAS DONE MORE TO PROVE HE IS A BETTER BACK THAN FRANK GORE. YOU DON'T THINK SO BECAUSE YOU ARE A NINER FAN.

AND I'M A DIE-HARD RAIDER FAN SAYING THIS. I DON'T NEARLY HATE THE NINERS (A TEAM IN THE NFC WEST,) AS MUCH AS I HATE THE CHEIFS, SO MISS ME WITH THAT NINER/RAIDER RIVALRY BULLSHIT. YEAH HE HAS RAN ALL OVER MY SQUAD FOR THE LAST COUPLE YEARS. BUT HE RAN ALL OVER THE NINERS LAST YEAR TOO WHEN YALL GOT BLOWN THE FUCK OUT IN KC REMEMBER?

AND YEAH BRO.. I REALLY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT INANE MEANT. WHAT A BRAIN ON FATAL! GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE.

steven jackson had 90 receptions for 806 yards and 3 tds.

frank gore had 61 receptions for 485 yards and 1 td.
CONSIDERING....CONSIDERING THE FACT, that the niners don't have a number one Receiver, and the Rams have a good tandem in Holt and Bruce, it would make sense. You have the secondary playing deep for the deep pass, while you have Stephen out in the flat, or wide open. I'm not biased, but Gore is something.

No. I like the way Frank Gore runs, I like his style, I like how the first man never brings him down, I like how he's able to catch balls out of the backfield and make something of nothing, I like how his vision allows him to find the holes up front and how his explosiveness gets him through those holes.. All of which he does better than Larry Johnson, Tiki Barber and Stephen Jackson. I am a RunningBack enthusiast, I'd like Frank Gore no matter where he played.

It's easy for you to say that I'm only saying Gore is #2 because he is a 49er, but the stats and broadcasts don't lie. Watch some film and learn what the fuck you're talking about before you try to speak.

I don't give a shit if this was his FIRST year in the league. It doesn't change the fact that he out-performed everyone with the exception of LaDainian Tomlinson, and it doesn't change the fact that he possesses more skill than everyone except LT. When only one guy has more skill and performs better than you do, that makes you the 2nd best, no matter how long you've been in the league. Use your fuckin head.

Solitary 1 said:
LET'S SEE HOW HE DOES NOW THAT NORV IS GONE.
Yeah I'm sure Norv Turner taught him how to break tackles, utilize his vision, catch balls and block.. And I'm sure he also gave Frank Gore his speed and agility, as well as his strength. And now that Norv is gone, all that talent and all those attributes will disappear into thin air.

Yeah. That makes sense.

Solitary 1 said:

Except out-perform him.

He's carried the ball a hell of a lot more times, if that's what you mean. Other than that, he has done nothing better than Frank Gore.

Keep sticking with that cop-out defense.

Give me a break. Let's see.. Who would you want to look better.. The guy who runs all over your team twice a year, or the guy who you'll rarely have to face.. It's simple: If the man who runs over your squad twice a year looks better, then your bitch ass team doesn't look bad.

And what the fuck does LJ running on the Niners have to do with anything? Are you fuckin retarded? You have no better arguement?

Do you not remember Frank Gore running all over your bitch ass squad in October??

The Rams frequently pass to their RBs. That's part of their gameplan. The Niners don't do it so much.

Gore has better hands than Stephen Jackson.
