having to wait seven years for a lynch track like dont worry mama it's just bleedin. before that was death dance in 2003. before that was that's what i said in '97. that adds thirteen years to my high school career. that puts time in perspective for me.
that and a few months ago, i was choppin with a youngpup. sixteen and working on a basketball scholarship. we were talking about rap and hip hop and evolution of the game. i made a reference to 2ndIInone. he didnt have the slightest clue who that was. i then made a mild joke and he didnt care too much for the joke. he said that soljah boy is [sic] his favorite rapper right now. and i seriously thought he was joking.

Also I was watching some Bay Area videos I grew up on as a teenager. My son walked in the living room when E-40's "Practice lookin' Hard" video was on and he said "Did all these old videos look this fuzzy and cheap made back then". I was like "what you mean old videos"?. Then he said, damn E-40 was skinnier back then. Then I realized me and 40 water were both skinnier back then, gbr!
I feel ya and I miss our rivalry with The Oilers! They had some of the best uniforms too when they sported the all white and that Oil Tower on their helmet was a bad ass emblem. Fuck the new Titans uniforms that replaced them... I remember the good hard fought games with Earl Campbell vs. The Steel Curtain in the Snow, Rain and/or mud. The good ole' days!!!
