I put the music channel "Hip Hop Classics" on my comcast while I was home from work for lunch. The channel is supposed to be the old school beginnings of hip hop. Granted it is a TV channel so I don't have too high of hopes, but still I expect to hear stuff like Run DMC or Erik B and Rakim

And what comes on . . . Gin & Juice - Snoop Doggy Dogg

WTF? Am I really that old that Gin & Juice is old school?

This isn't the best example, but rather the most recent occurrence.

What shit makes you say to yourself "WTF!? Am I really that old!?"

When go anywhere out and about like to the store and someone in their early 20's calling me Sir. They use to say like hey "What's up man", "How's it going" with a more kicked back approach. Now they act all straight, proper and use full manners like "Sir is there anything else I can help you with"? Damn, that makes me feel fuckin' old!

When my cousins or other folks in their early 20's tell me they never heard or saw shows like "The Jeffersons", "Sanford & Son", "Three's Company", "Taxi", "All In The Family", "What's Happening" etc... I'm like WTF??? Those are classics!!!

My little brother who is 17, introduced me to his friend and the friend says to me, "What's up O.G.!", and I'm thinking to myself, "have I really reached O.G. status at age 32????"
