Honestly this shit is all relative. It aint like we on here trying to make san diego to be a war zone. But for alot of us, its insulting as hell to hear how nice san diego is when we done had loved ones shot, killed, locked up, etc. That's what was really the point of the reader article. You gotta be from here to understand, thats why I dont even trip on out of towners who dont know the business. The shit I seen and went through growing up here would of been no different in any other hood in america. The san diego I know is a real small one, I bet everybody on here is only a couple degrees seperated from each other. Our san diego is a whole nother world then what's percieved from an outsiders perspective

anybody read the latest voice and viewpoint? they got an article about an old woman who got beat by the SDPD in her own home...two weeks ago. They beat her daughter too, called her a "skiiny black bitch" n all that according to the article

what did you do in the 3 years that you were in san diego, were you selling drugs? were you bangin? sellin straps?

or did you come here for a job, 3 years got your money then said a city wasnt hood

i mean honestly your opinion on whether a city is or isnt hood should be based on who the fuck you are and what you do

if you got a full time job i dont see how from a cubicle you know exactly whats going on that day in the streets or whos out there when you aint
