sd has always been slow to me, but thats more or less because i grew up in paridise hills, and growing up we didnt have a great transit system, it was just slow and hot and humid and it was pretty much just a slow lifestyle
otay mesa/chula vista isnt like a small knit community, its ever changing, and i see alot of people who just dont fit the definition of what i previously considered your stereotypical san diegan

I love this city. PERIOD. Born n raized here and wouldnt change it 4 nuthin. I could give 2 fuccz if niggaz have come thru here and visited La Jolla, Coronado and Mission Valley and think we aint wit the business out here cuz they went thru the "safe" spotz. Bottom line: just about any city haz spotz where u can get your head blown off your shoulderz.
a lot of people look at my city, Portland, like it ain;t nothing but old white people and hipsters and the city's just all out bitchness. But go to NEP (North East Portland) or SE portland and you'll see it's hood if you fucking with the right people. every place u go has a ghetto where there's mutha fuckas regardless of race, terrorizing the city.

I grew up in "OTAY" to be exact. Castle Park HS area.
I love it down here. It might not be as "grimey" as SE, but it still keeps that urban mood. I guess it's like National City, but with less problems. Now a city like San Ysidro, is just str8 up Paisa. I don't like that city one bit, except for Las Americas outlets.
