This debate should not have started really. Fact is they are both at their best at different weights so to compare them in a fight is very difficult. To make a fantasy matchup. It would be like comparing Marco Antonio Barrera vs. Vernon Forrest. Jones would have a 20 pound weight advantage, that might not mean much in a street fight, but at a world class boxing level it means the world. That advantage with Jones speed would surely be enough for him to win, like wise as good as Azumah Nelson or Salvador Sanchez were at Featerweight against Leonard they would be dominated.
pf they were to actually naturally weight the same and be at their best at that weight i would bet on leonard. things being the way they are you have to bet ob RJJ simply because he is to big and strong for leonard

Doesnt matter...he won and he fought alot of great boxers back then!! if u really think about it, the 7th and 8th ranked boxers in their respective classses were probably better than the top ranked boxers now!! and actually if i had to pick the top heavies since ALI i would say Holmes was first by far and then Ruddick Bowe. i mean i just like all-round fighters and lewis is not one of them and neither is tyson but tyson would be #3 on his rediculous power and intimidation factors
