So what should we do?
I think we should.....

Hire Mike Martz. Hiring Mike Martz might convince Porter and Moss to stay. It would pretty much be a pass happy offense. Porter wanted Mike Martz hired instead of Art Shell anyway. Mike Martz' offense has been known to score points.

And with the first pick of the draft they should select JaMarcus Russell out of LSU. He's 6'6 can move and he probably will have the strongest arm in the NFL. There is no way in hell I would pass him up. JaMarcus is a franchise quarterback that we can't pass on. He chucked it 60 yards off of his backfoot. Damn it feels good to be a Raider fan. To those of you who laughed at me for leaving the Saints to become a Raider fan.... now what? Like I said.. no regrets!

What do y'all think we should do?

Yeah, that's the only thing that bothers me about Al Davis. Why is he interviewing for offensive coordinator positions? Shouldn't that be up to the head coach? The head coach should decide on who he wants as an offensive coordinator not Al.

A few free agents will take care of that. I think Art's offense made them look worse than what they really are. I think they were asked to block too long. Usually a quarterback has like a 3 second window to get rid of the ball... when Art was asked about this, he said that it doesn't matter how long because the offensive linemen have to block. And we see what happened. We lead the league in getting our QB's sacked.

I'd rather we promote Rob Ryan to head coach & then pick up an offensive coordinator w/a hlfway decent scheme. Pick-up a couple of veterans for the O-Line, trade the #1 pick and a few players down for a few more 1st round picks. Grab a QB & Tackle to train, a blocking fullback, a blocking tight end, and alittle more depth at linebacker. WR's are a dime a dozen right now so if Porter wants to play for the texans, let him.

there was rumors that the offensive coordinator was going to be promoted at espn.com........that shit is hillarious......I say get rob ryan as HC, or an offensive minded HC......but Rob Ryan MUST stay a raider


as for what we need, I'd say build the O-Line and pick up a franchise RUNNING BACK....shit, we need it for this division.....

I think Lynch would have more motivation being bay born & bred, spending his college at cal, then getting drafted to the raiders....he could be a hometown hero fans would back as well. its not just about winning here, we have to get our fans back into the stadium (so I can watch games from home without being blacked out! :cool:)

JaMarcus Russell is better than Culpepper. Far more accurate and he makes better decisions with the ball. You'll see....

There's no way we can pass on JaMarcus Russell. No way in hell. Do whatever it takes to draft him and sign him. He's a franchise qb. He can solidify the Qb position for years in a Raider uniform.

Unless he gets killed behind that weak ass O-Line and he ends up just eating up money on the bench.

The only way I would take him...or any QB...is if they let him sit a year or two until the line gets built up.

Let Brooks or Walters get beat up for awhile.

If we pick Brady Quinn I will shoot myself as well as having proof that al's dementia had really set in.

JaMarcus Russel would look great in silver and black, and I think Al Davis would pick him based on his arm strength alone. Or trade down for Adrian Petersen or trade picks for veteran o-line. We have plenty of young o-line that could eventually be not crappy, no need to draft a grip more. We need some sure-thing savage linemen like steve hutchingson was last year going to the vikings.

I agree w/ you about Jamarcus Russel, but I think they need to give Rob Ryan the head coaching job. The players respect him and thats exactly what we need right now. Next, address the o-line, I think Jordan and Fargas can be break out backs if they had some push up front. After that, start working out Porters deal, fuck Moss, hell of a player but can he be coached? and is he still what he used to be? too risky for me at this point. Plus Curry, Whitted & Gabriel are tight and you can probalby pick up a reciever in the draft or free agency. I heard on KNBR Rod Brooks talkin bout Porter might go to san fran, but we'll see. Thats my opinion......

Why'd you switch teams that you supported?

I don't care about the specific teams, I'm just wondering why you switched teams at all and how long ago it was?
