the fact that the 360 launched a year ahead of ps3 and was cheaper even. when the ps3 launched and it was like 700... more people would go to the 360 just off price, parents especially...

yes different hardware will produce different results...the 360's.colors looked crisper, yet the ps3 looked smoother...the chipsets play a huge role in both systems and your argument....

congratulations you pay extra for a feature that should be free

yeah Little Big Planet is dope. Folks dont realize that PS3 would be killing 360 in sales if it weren't for the RROD. Think about how many people had to buy a new X-Box to replace there broken one. I got both systems and like PS3 better cuz of certain exclusives and online is free. What im somewhat pissed off about is my 360 destroyed one of my games yesterday, put a deep scratch in a ring and couldnt buff it out or get it to read.

Dont have Infamous and wouldnt have paid for it so glad i will get it free. Same as everything else they giving out except Little Big Planet. Considering i didnt really notice PSN was down cuz i put a lot of hours into the New Fallout anything free is fine by me.

i think i'm gonna go with Dead Nation & inFamous ..i was never interested in inFamous before, but watched the gamespot review & it looks okay. plus its 30 hours of gameplay. i could end up being pleasantly surprised. & Dead Nation, i watched a vid of that & it looks cool too. multiplayer could be fun.

Sony Computer Entertainment America has revealed its version of the PSN make-good plan, which is almost identical to SCEE's.

Here's whats on offer. Two PlayStation 3 games from the following list:

LittleBigPlanet
Infamous
Wipeout HD/Fury
Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty (Europe only)
Dead Nation
Super Stardust HD (North America/Germany only)
And two PSP games from the following list:

LittleBigPlanet PSP
ModNation Racers PSP
Pursuit Force
Killzone Liberation
That list is a bit different for PSN users in Germany, which swaps Dead Nation and Infamous for the less violent Super Stardust HD and Hustle Kings on the PS3. German PSP owners will get Everybody's Golf 2 and Buzz Junior Jungle Party instead of Pursuit Force and Killzone Liberation on the PSP.

On top of that, PSN account holders can expect 30 days of free PlayStation Plus membership if they're non-subscribers, 60 days of free subscription for those currently enrolled in the program.

In North America, Sony will also offer a selection of to-be-announced "On Us" movie rentals "available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available." PlayStation Home fans will also receive "100 free virtual items" and an "exclusive game," Ooblag's Alien Casino, in North America.
