different chip sets.....ill take one blu ray disc over 2-3 dual layers for the same game any day though....also having a blu ray player included...i dont know about you, but them HD-DVD's are no where to be found....

I paid money for Dead Nation and Wipeout (with the fury expansion) and they are solid games. LBP has one many GOTY awards and has sold millions of copies. Super StarDust seems to be cool as well.

@ ArGenTin3, fam I own both systems and with the exception of RDR and Mass Effect 2 (there was no ps3 version at the time) all my multiplats are ps3.

You take a game where the lead platform was the 360 and you're going to have it looking better than ps3 (Bayonetta). You take a ps3 and have it as the lead platform, in many instances it will look better (LA NOIRE), so there is a lot that goes into it when looking at graphics and everything under the hood.

As far as numbers are concerned, PS3 has outsold the 360. This is information you can find by using google. The online community for 360 is larger, considering what M$ is offering, how they've been able to integrate windows products/services, etc.

Both systems have good games, both have pros and cons, but as a person who mainly enjoys sp games/content, I'm not sold on the whole "online" experience offered by either platform. However, I do enjoy DLC for certain games (like the ME2) stuff.

In closing, we're all gamers here, enjoy the systems.

i never told the story..the RROD is a common occurrence...3 don't fail over and over without major hardware issues....i wont buy another one...realistically comparing an xbox issue with a Toyota recall is absurd, most car companies have potentially fatal recalls yearly, Toyota caught shit only because they are known for reliability..and really not every toyota had the gas pedal issue and has been since resolved...meanwhile 360's continue to RROD even after a Microsoft repair...its a faulty product not designed for longevity...i've had too many bad experiences with the product, why should i go out and continue to support it? so everytime i turn it on i can wonder if it will fail.
.the 360 is like playing Russian roulette...only a matter of time before the luck runs out..it was to the point where when my 360 was cool i didn't want to use it just because i didn't want it to RROD...but it happened again...
