Stopped by GameSpot today and picked up 2 more games.. One i'am actually returning tho..
I also saw 2 games there that i thought looked interesting.. Now that i checked out their reviews i'am pretty pissed i didn't pick 'em up..
Anyways.. I copped AR Tonelico II, brand new for $35.. I'am pretty excited to play this one because all the reviews are pretty damn good, and it's a '09 PS2 release.
I also picked up The Nightmare Of Druaga for $4.99 used.. I looked at the cover, wasnt convinced so i started checkin out the instructions book.. I got pretty excited because it looked like a very cool dungeon crawler game with some Diablo aspects.. Then i go home and read the reviews and not on one review did it get higher then 6.5+ lol.. So i'am gonna take it back..
I was also wondering if anyone has ever played Eternal Poison or Soul Nomad for the PS2? I'am pissed i didn't pick either of them up.. After reading the reviews for Eternal Poison i'am most pissed i didn't pick that up.. It was $19.99 used and it looks like a good ass Tactical RPG.. I'am most interested in how the story plays out and how you're able to capture demons and use 'em on the battlefield.. And I remember Dead Blue mentioning something about Soul Nomad but i wasn't sure if it was good or bad lol.. Has anyone played any of these games and got any opinions on 'em?
Oh yeah Hersey i saw Wild Arms 3 down there.. It was $8.99, should i have picked it up?
and Dead Blue i saw Zone Enders down there for $19.99.. I didn't pick it up cuz i wanted to do a little homework on it first.. Is it a 1 on 1 mech game or are you in a mech on the battlefield vrs multiple enemies?
edit: fuck after reading Soul Nomands review on gamestop i'am fuckin pissed i didn't pick that up either.. Its a Nippon Ichi game with a serious storyline!? thats exactly what i went down there looking for.. Not to mention its got a completley new story after u beat it? this is what hyped me up it was from the gamestop review

Finally, as with all of its strategy RPGs, Nippon Ichi has added huge amounts of replayability to the game. Upon completion of the standard game campaign with one of the many endings--there is a paired ending with nearly every story character which may be different depending on your gender--you are given the option to start the game over again with your army as it was for additional playthroughs. New rooms and units are unlocked, as is an optional “demon path” campaign that lets you fully embrace your dark side, features a completely new story, and adds an additional two endings. This extra story adds an additional ten to twenty hours of Gig on top of the normal campaign’s forty-hour or so game and gives you a frightening look at what the world would be like if you took another path. Beyond that, there are still high-level Gig Inspections to challenge you for countless more hours.
thats like gettin 2 Nippon Ichi games for one.. Jake or Dead Blue whats ur 2cents on this game?
