Went down to Game Spot and i was lookin to cop Persona 3 & 4.. Found #3's CD case and i went to the desk and they didn't have the CD lol.. Big let down..
I think glanced by pretty quickly (had to be at work in like 10 mins) and picked up Disgea: Hour Of Darkness and XenoSaga.. Then the dude at the register talked me outa gettin XenoSaga, which was only $7.. I think iam gonna go back and pick it up tommarow tho..
I'am like 2 hours into Disgea.. Pretty awsome game so far

Yeah the guy told me the cutscenes were too long and it was really boring.. Then i go read the reveiws and it says the cut scenes are long, but they are anime based and for the most part pretty entertaining.. And i'am a fan of cutscenes so i shoulda jus bought it.
Anyways.. I can already tell that Disgea is gonna take up ALL my free tiem now lol.. I love this game.

Both Jake, and me love their games. You'll find that they just have a formula that works.
I would really advise that you stop trying to buy all these RPGs at once and just buy a new one as you finish one up, to get the most out of them. Otherwise you'll end up just starting them all to "see what they're like" and not finishing any of them. I mean they're not going anywhere and with the exception of DDS, their price probably won't change much.

I'am all about beefin my chars up and grinding in RPG's.. But i havnt played a RTS RPG since Final Fantasy Tactics so i wasnt sure if i was gonna like it or not still.. But it still keeps me very entertained.. The RTS battles are a lot funner then regular Turn Based ones..
And Dead Blue i'am trying to pick them up as i can find them.. Because the Game Spot at my house dosnt have a huge selection of PS2 RPG's.. Alright, but i dont think i saw an Persona 3 FES on there.. How hard is it too find Persona 3 FES? I know i can get it from a .com website but i jus' got over gettin my idenity stolen cuz my computer was fucked up.. I no longer put my credit card or anything like that on here.. But, i guess i can always buy one of them preloaded visa cards.. I might jus drop $200 on one of those and go on playasia.com and get DDS1&2, Persona 3&4, and Disgaea 2&3..
Anyways i got a few questions about Disgaea..
I jus got Flonne, is she worth keepin and lvling up?? And are prinny's worth lvling up too? Right now General is the highest prinny i got.. He dosnt do too much damage unless he does that special move where he throws stuff... And even then he's outa SP in one move..
And does Etna get any better?? lol she does hella low dmg and i jus spent $300 on a new spear for her..
And the more u use ur special attacks the stronger they get??
Right now Laharl (who is probably one of the coolest main characters ever imo) and this brawler character i made are the best.. They're whoopin ass

FES is a LOT easier to obtain than the original Persona 3 is.
Well thats the thing, Disgaea is set up so you're characters are what you make them. Really you can just level up Laharl and beast your way through the whole "main" game. The best way to improve your characters is to level up weapons via item world. Flonne is really just a healer so it's best to have her out casting spells because your attacks level up too as you use them.

Man I put hours into Disgaea and still haven't beat it. If you're really into level grinding you'll be pleased with this series. Also you should check out Soul Nomad.

Nah, keep your other healer. You want this just in case you want to split your party nd have one group go one direction and another group in another direction.

Stay away from the assembly and don't try to get anything passed until you're really leveled up.
You can capture monsters on the field. You have to beat them up to where they have a small amount of HP and then you pick them up and throw them onto your HQ panel. They might wound or even kill a couple of your troops but if you did it right they'll join your squad. As for humans, don't try it because you can't capture humans, EVER. They'll destroy your base and you'll spend tons of money trying to heal your squad.
