funny how at the beggining of this generation ppl were like "for me its the games and xbox has them" now sony has a variety of exclusives and xbox has what 3 or 4? the new ps4 is built more like a pc and is giving people everything they asked for mainly cross game chat, and some of yall are like its gonna fail, you guys should form your own opinions and not just listen to the media, the media is very pro xbox and anti sony, they will do whatever to make xbox look beter then ps3 or ps4,
xbox= better marketing
playstation=more content
shit online is free and if you wanted to pay for playstation plus you get hella free games and some of them are triple A titles I don't know what ppl complain for, don't get blinded by the media, fuck the sales and which console sold more in the first year or last year, which console is giving you more, I dont wanna hear shit about bitch ass map packs a month early fuck call of duty

but how does it actually enhance gaming experience? The only thing that caters to is egotistical losers that want to brag to the world by posting their gameplay footage.

it's not like you have to use it or whatever. Again, I'm not into the social media aspects of gaming, or at least I don't see how I would get into all of that at this point in my life, but there many times I wish I could have recorded whatever awesome thing I accomplished in a game! To have the ability to do so is a bonus, imo.
I can think of several ways how it could enhance the gaming experience.

bro, its not some end all be all make or break thing, it's just a cool feature to add and enhances the online experience, look what if your creating a cool ass character on wwe2k14 or nba 2k14 or something and want to take a snapshot of your creations and send it to a friend or the comminity you play in, or some footage of your character in game, do you know how much easier that is to press the share button instead of setting up a capture card and then editing stuff on your pc,

Not sure what games you play but the only games I give two shits about anymore (gta, mass effect and elder scrolls) all received dlc on xbox months before ps3, if at all. Microsoft got hella dibs on dlc.

like i've stated in the thread already, sony has been fucking up left & right this past generation, on the home console & handheld fronts. they've been needing to turn it around for a while now & i didnt see any evidence of that so far. even if they're saving their big guns for e3, they should have just unveiled there instead, this was a very underwhelming 1st impression. call me a pessimist but sony has given me no reason to hope for the best from them.
also i never mentioned microsoft or the new xbox because i dont agree with their choices either(also its a ps4 thread), but they're pretty cutthroat with their approach & as bad as it would be for the gaming community as a whole, i dont see them losing steam anytime soon
xbox doesnt need exclusive killer apps as long as they have devs cripple sony games out the gate

Your still not explaining how its "rip Sony " though. By your own admission you don't have much to go on regarding the PS4 so the statement seems to hold no weight.
Further part of the problem early on with the PS3 was it was difficult for developer's to make games. The strategy with the PS4 is to make it very easy.
