SANTA ANA, Calif. (KTLA) -- Two Orange County inmates, facing murder charges in separate cases, have tied the knot in a bizarre jailhouse wedding.
Its not that uncommon for inmates to get married while behind bars, but rarely to each other.
The bride, 20-year old Marissa Star Bilotti, is charged with murder for helping a former boyfriend shoot and kill a man in a Huntington Beach park in 2010.
She is facing a maximum sentence of 32 years to life in prison.
The groom, 26-year old Iftekhar Murtaza, faces the death penalty in one of Orange County's most notorious crimes.
He's accused of abducting the father and sister of his ex-girlfriend, beating them to death, and then setting their bodies on fire in an Irvine park in May 2007.
According to the OC Register, the couple "met" in January, when Bilotti sent Murtaza a letter at the suggestion of another female inmate.
By April they were engaged and have been trying to get married ever since.
Jail officials agreed to allow Murtaza and Bilotti to exchange vows inside the jail's visiting area on Monday.
But the pair were separated by a wall and could only communicate by phone.
Needless to say, the groom did not kiss the bride

i have people in prison and jail, whom i write and visit if i can..i even help with money..so dont give me that shit like im not entitled to an opinion that differs from most....the judicial system is joke pedos and sex offenders seem to always get off easy ( no pun ) where they should be castrated...and from what ive been told inmates have it pretty good as far as meals,shelter, the fact that they have little things such as deodorant, shampoo and not just a state issued bar of soap, 3 meals a day sure its not red lobster...a place to sleep...im just saying...its not the greatest conditions, but its not supposed to be, could and should it be safer? absolutely, but when you get that many people together most with a violent past..shit pops off, there are too many variables to make it equal across the board so everybody should be treated equally

sorry bout no where does it say isolation is a form of rehabilitation or treatment, its torture and cruel punishment
and they are asking for simple shit, better food, cleaner living quarters and one phone call a week...
i dunno why anyone who hasnt been locked up has an opinion...if you never had your freedom striped away, how the fuck are you gonna understand what someone else is talkin about or goin thru?

thats pretty much it...american inmates have it pretty good...remember when that american kid got cained in singapore...america was outraged and thought that was brutal...shit if anything that shit taught me not to go fucking around off in some other country because as bad as americas prisons are...im not trying to get caught up in another countries jail system...except for maybe canada lol

i swear it sounds like most of you believe that it has to be like a holiday inn or some kind of resort....the food does not have to be better as long as its edible....cleaner living conditions as in ? its a shame you cant trust an inmate with a broom or any type of solvent they might try and kill someone...one phone call a week? just curious what would be an acceptable amount one a day? 3 a week?
the point is its not supposed to be enjoyable...you start giving people too many freedoms or even make it too easy or relaxed people wont mind to go to jail....jail is punishment ...its like being a kid and told to go to your room and you had the TV in your room so you would be like fuck it i dont care send me to my room....jails are over populated with people that shouldnt be there for petty shit...theft of a TV, stealing a pizza, weed and as ridiculous as it the system is...shit, i know a girl who is fighting for custody of her son against a known and registered sex offender...but the sex offender has rights so he gets a voice in that...is that fair?
