i don't think that this thread was started to offend ANYONE. it was directed to those who have seen the movie. some people said that they appreciated it and there are some that don't. that's fine and cool. what's not cool is puttin up pictures like that. that shit aint funny, it's offensive.

If Jesus existed? whether or not you believe in the spirituality side is up to you but there is no denying that Jesus did infact exist. Noone said that he was white, blonde hair and blue eyed, spanish, or whatever.

You guys might think that Jesus picture is hilarious,but I find it offensive like a brother would hate the word "Nigger".Maybe it all gravy to you,but your offending people who consider him there Lord and Savior,and to me...it's like someone posting a picture of another members mom being raped,and laughing.I'm not a perfect Christian,and these are tests and trials in my life.Do I forgive a guy like Sixxness and 2-0-Sixx,or do I want to stab them in the face for the blatant disrespect?
I have not seen the movie, nor will I support Mel Gibson (who's father is a blatant anti-semite who denounces the existence of the holocaust during Nazi Germany). From my perspective there are too many similarities from 'The Passion' now playing in theatre's near you and and the passion plays or vignettes about the death of Jesus, produced and performed in the early stages of Nazi Germany (orchestrated by one of Hitler's head propagnda figures). This in turn translated to the people blaming us (Jewish people) for the rest of the current economic and social depression which existed.
My intent is not to knock anyone's beliefs or offend anybody, those are simply my personal sentiments. I am a firm believer that if what someone believes in (i.e. Mel Gibson's 'The Passion) makes them a better individual and promotes a genuine sincere compassion for humankind w/ equality & w/o prejudice, then that is what is right for them.

Okay here's what my opinion is...that snickers image is offensive, me being a Christian doesnt affect that statement...its more like hey what if someone (most likely white)took a picture of a slave up on a slaveship whipped like no other and put the snickers slogan and logo on it...how many of you would take offense to that? I think that there would be a ton of people including my white self that would be extremely offended. That was just completely un--called for in my view...I dont hate anyone because of it, people dont think of the fact at the time that what they post or say could hurt someone...but hey we're all human and we ARE ALL DIFFERENT and thats what I beleive makes our (HUMAN, not BACK or WHITE) race so interesting and at times controversial and complicated...However I do believe that the movie is not historically (from what we know as humans) correct. If you take a look at the film those are Romans that drove the spikes through Jesus' palms...I dont know but that is what I think...thanks for your time if you read my post...now it's up to you...and I think instead of going against someone elses opinion you should just state yours....but that's what forums are for I guess huh...Much love to all my SICCNESS community!
