trailer was wack imo too. i think the movie lived up to the lil hype it got. i'ts most def. better in the theater wit the sound efx and what not. had hella grown ass men and women admitting and looking like they was spooked after the movie was done.
hmm...well maybe i will see it. i do have to see nightmare on elm street, event if its lousy. I would have to say the scarriest thing i've seen was on t.v. late at night i woke up to a show that had a real excorsism going on. I looked for a second because i was thinking what the heck is this and then they showed a boy they were performing the rights on..i turned off fast!

Yall aint gonna see a DL link for a while.

By the way, the VERY ending of the movie was Paramounts idea. The OG version didnt have the last part when ****SPOILERS**** she went back upstairs and tossed dude like a ragdoll. they just added it to make it more creepy.

btw, I would tit fuck the shit outta that girl

saw it tonight in bellevue and it was kinda corny and a waste of money i thought. there was alot of laughter in the theatre and it wasnt very believeable, i mean it was ok. but even if i had downloaded it or got it from netflix I still woulda been soso on it. i thought the blair witch was better and scarier. ole girls tiddies were very nice yes and probably the best part of the movie. i didnt know the ending was added on from the og version but i thought that was the scariest part of the movie. im more excited to see The Road which was one of the previews

I just got back from a long lunch at work and watched this....SUCKS ASS!!!!!

1 OUT OF 5 STARS. The ending ruined any sense of "realism" they were going for, half the shit that the guy did wouldn't have been done in real life if he cared for his girl, etc etc etc

I'd give it a 1 out of 5 too and that's probably being nice because they did do some kind of cool things for only have a $11,000 budget.

So far it seems the more people who see it the more people percentage wise that didn't like it. Like the first wave of people in limited run were all like OMG!!! and the second wave were more like MEH!!! and the ones just seeing it now are like STFU AND GTFO!!

^high expectations I suppose

1 out of 5?! Seriously?? I just dont get that. I really dont. This was one of the best horror movies ever made in my honest opinion. And I consider myself a very knowledgeable person when it comes to horror movies. So I know I'm not just jumping on bandwagons here. The movie was truly scary.

I just think people are going to see it now with chips on their shoulders because of all the hype, WANTING to dislike it.

Dude said it was one of the worst horror movies ever though.. wow. I just dont get that.

Really? See, I don't get it. There wasn't anything really scarey in the movie in my opinion. 90% of the movie seemed like it was them talking about what was going on, arguing about it, talking to other people about it or looking it up online. Not that a scarey movie needs to have stuff happening every second and be super bloody or something but I just found myself ridiculously bored for most of the movie. Maybe it was because you could tell just about every time that something was about to happen that made the scarey parts not even scarey at all (to me) and some of them were downright laughable.

I mean, the acting sucked major balls and the cinematography was crap too. Both are understandble in that league though seeing it cost $11,000 to make and the way it was shot wasn't trying to be "artsy" or anything but those being so awful didn't help the movie at all.

I wouldn't say it's the worst horror movie ever but I think saying that it's one of the best horror movies is just as bad as saying it's one of the worst.

You know people that go to movies trying to hate them? Why in the fuck would someone do that? lol

I watched it for free with 14 people saying they loved it and like 2 saying they hated it. Also 4 of the people who said they loved it I have similar taste in movies and respect their opinions on films and the 2 who hated I usually don't agree with, so I really can't call.

I just think it was super overhyped and failed to deliver on any level, in my opinion of course.

100% FALSE!!! I want a good horror movie to be made, there hasnt been one in years!

But on the scary scale this was 1 out of 10. I would let me 5 year old watch this movie knwinghew wouldnt get scared even once....ok maybe the fake ass ending, but thats about it. There were people walking out, it was boring as fuck except for the say 2 total minuites shit was actually happening. AHHHHHHHH A Bang on the wall...then nothing.....ohhhhh the girl sleep walked to outside, scarrrrrrrry.

this is not on Blair witches level (which I only cared a bit for that movie), not even close to poltergiest (or sequeals for that matter), and that doesnt even get into the horror slashers etc.

There is no way this is a top anything movie in horror except for top worst!

Seriously, please explain any part that could be considered remoterly scary in this "horror" movie. whats scary is how much they talked and didnt do shit.
