I'm surprised a N8 thread has actually become a semi-successful one, even though it DID start off completely negative (as do almost ALL threads). I think N8 deserves some sort of reward, how about we all pitch in and buy him that ketchup he always wanted??

*cricket chirp*

Yeah, I didn't think so.

only reason homeboy made this thread is so he could say that hes a felon...

+Net Creds
well n8 is a blood till his ba5ket drops, that means he is so ghetto that he cannot afford a ca5ket let alone a casket and his remains will have to be buried in a small family sized picnic basket. It wont be any ordinary picnic basket though, instead of a red and white checkered cloth it will be a red and black checkered cloth to represent his dedication to his blood brothaz.

Having Barack Hussein Obama as our next Predident... that idea scares the absolute SHIT out of me. But, people are so convinced we need "change" that many (not all) will blindly vote for Baracky, just because he spews the word "change" and the phrase "yes we can" out of his mouth! How sad. No one seems to care that his morals as a human being are completely in the gutter. But I guess that doesn't matter to a lot of people; it should, but it doesn't. At the very least, consider the video footage of him from 2004, stating that he couldn't imagine running for president in 2008 because (by his own admission) he wouldn't have the needed experience by that year to run.

McCain isn't the best candidate by any means, but Obama will take us down an even worse (yes- I just said worse!) path. Everyone thinks we are in such "bad shape" as a country right now. Eh, so things aren't perfect and we all have to tighten our pocketbooks to some extent. It could be FAR WORSE.

Would you care to explain your reasoning?

Would you care to explain your reasoning?

Hey man, I edited my post, but don't think you saw it. Basically tho, My reasoning for not choosing Barry as my candidate stems from two things... 1) Obama is Pro-Choice and 2) Not enough Experience.

Those are things that are the most important for me. For you, it might be something completely different. Actually, the first reason is what really does it for me, but I always throw the second one in there because it's true as well. :knockout:

I like when people say obama's full name and make sure to throw in the "Hussein" part of his name to somehow convince people that he's a terrorist cause of his middle name

give people the chance to choose, and let God deal with them later...

I'm voting for Barack Hussein Obama. I don't give a damn what a mutherfuckers name is or what kind of church he went to. That dosent have anything to do with how you'll handel your politics. That's like saying that since I listen to Tech that I smoke weed all day and drink Carabou Lous till I drop. Truth is I don't drink and I've never in my 29 years smoked weed. I like the fact that Barack has come out and said that he plans to do shit differently. The only reason that Bush has been acting like a decent pres is because his term is almost over and he wants to go out looking good. The way I see it is that Mccain is gonna be a Bush pt2. I know back in the day he used to piss people off by going against his own party on shit, but now that he's older he dosent do that shit. He seems to support damn near everything that Bush has wanted lately. I know people want to get on Barack by saying he wants to change things.....I say what wron with that? What's wrong with trying to fix our broken down health care systems and failing economy and educational systems? Why not get someone in there that stayed in the South side of Chi where shit is real all day long and real peple struggle to make it day to day. Obama may not have been in washington as long as Mccain has but he has been working for the people for 20 plus years. I don't think Mccain is in touch with mainstream America anymore and I'd like to have a pres that can identify with me and that I can identify with. I also think he has what it takes to get our international shit back together. People in other countries still hate us over this Iraq shit and we need someone that can mouthpiece our ass out of the frying pan and let these other countries know that we can take care of ourselves and not on other countries resources for everything. Free trade is cool but not to the point when if one country decideds to start some shit our gas prices triple over night. Just my opinion and shit tho. Barack 08

About the drilling in Alaska. The President that decides to do that, wouldn't even be in offices to see the changes it would make. Oh by the way, it would almost COST the country money to do so. According to everything I have read, it would affect gas prices by about 3% nationally, we would make no money exporting except for to canada because all the other countries get thier oil from the middle east as well and it is very possible that US companies would sell it for more than what we buy it for now. And they better get started soon, because canada has to build a pipeline for us, and we wont actually get to use our "own oil" for about 10 yrs from when the drilling starts.

Look I am not sure if there is really a good candidate right now, Obama is definitely saying all the right things and McCain is just hard as fuck to follow.

How can we elect a guy that has voted with Bush 90% of the time? Geez where is Bill Clinton when you need him?..................Oh that's right he is campaining for Obama.

Vote Obama. LOL.

My thought on the energy issue is that if we want to see a fast drop we can use some of the reserves we have piled up not doing anything. It might not be that popular but if we can bring down the prices now and start drilling off shore and working with fuel alternates we can work move into a long term solution. Wind and solar farms are a cleaner alternative to natural gas and in some cases help build communities up.

I don't know what we need to do to get our shit together but we do have options. All of which seem to be better then what were doing now which it seems like we're doing nothing
