WASHINGTON AP - Barack Obama is answering a question he faced often on the campaign trail. Whom would he turn to for advice when making foreign policy decisions?

The Democratic White House hopeful has scheduled the inaugural meeting Wednesday of what he's calling his Senior Working Group on National Security. It includes former members of Congress and high-ranking Clinton administration officials.

Among them are three who advised Hillary Rodham Clinton and had served in her husband's Cabinet — former Secretaries of State Madeleine Albright and Warren Christopher and former Defense Secretary William Perry.

. . .

Obama plans to consult the working group members regularly between now and the Nov. 4 election, but those sitting with him in the two meetings would be likely picks to serve in high posts if he is elected. They could be secretaries of defense or state, national security advisers or maybe even a running mate.
. . .

It also includes several Clinton administration officials — Tony Lake, Susan Rice, Greg Craig, Eric Holder, Richard Danzig and Jim Steinberg.

"It's time to change course," Obama said.

 If that’s not a change I don’t know what is.

Neither, which if your simpleton mind were able to grasp such a simple topic you would have been able to understand by this point in the thread. Neither offers any significant change, especially change that will benefit the majority of people in this country (knowing or not). My examples from Obama’s staff illustrate this point quite well.

In other words, his cynicism won't allow him to make a choice between the two...

Or [gasp!] maybe neither of the TWO (with so many options how could you not support one right???) candidates offers siginificant change.

Cynicism is irrelevant to the quality of the candidates.

***Tell me what you would like for dinner; dog shit or horse shit.

***Wait, wait, wait. You are telling me that you DON'T want one or the other? How could you possibly not want one or the other?

***It is obviously your "cynicism" that won't allow you to choose between the two.

I think it is important to realize that Obama is but one man. I hate to break the news to some of you who are anticipating unrealistic expectations. He's not speaking in terms of revolutionizing the entire country, but starting in the White House. I see no contradiction in receiving advice from former members of Cabinets or Congress and proclaiming change. I see no contradiction because foreign policy advisors are simply that, advisors, they may have alot of influence but decision making responsibility lies in President and Congress in terms of foreign policy.

Maybe we should go get some Joe Blow off the street to give advice on foreign policy, and while we're at it lets change the term limits of both the Senate and House to 1 year. And let us not forget about the Supreme Court. Only then can we take the slogan "Change We Can Believe In" literally?
