There's no such thing as liberal's in big politics, evidence of this is the claim of Obama being the most liberal member of the Senate.

CB, who are you gonna vote for- - are you going to vote at all?

Looks like zbebrewski guy is a proponent of the "build a bigger gun" theory. How do we know he will be advising Obama?

Then why do Democrats suddenly feel that she is unelectable?
People have always felt she is unelectable.

If Obama wins, independents and swing voters will turn out for him. Hillary Clinton has a galvanizing effect on Republicans and a negative effect on 'moderates'. If Clinton wins, Republican turnout will rise, while independent and swing voters will vote against her.

The Obama campaign’s June 2007 memo exposing Clinton’s ties to India sparked an outcry from the Indian-American community. USINPAC denounced Obama’s memo as “the worst kind of anti Indian American stereotyping.” Sen. Obama (D-IL) apologized for the memo, which referred to Clinton as “Clinton (D-Punjab)” (Rediff.com).

lmao

If elected, Obama says he would “insist on fully funding military assistance to Israel” (JPost) and continue to cooperate with Israel on the development of the Arrow missile defense system.

That's comedy.

Yeah, supporting Israel to the fullest is mandatory to become president of the US.

“We will support [Israel’s] efforts to send a message to Hamas, Hezbollah, to the Syrians, to the Iranians, to all who seek death and domination instead of life and freedom.” - Hillary Clinton

Non-democrats

independents and swing voters will turn out for him.
Even Vs McCain?

If Clinton wins, Republican turnout will rise, while independent and swing voters will vote against her.
Which is why they want to give her as much attention as possible. They want to run against her. Getting Karl Rove to attack a candidate is a quick and easy way to motivate democrats behind someone.

Perception is Reality...

One of the best things about Obama getting elected will be displayed in an abrupt change in the way that other countries perceive us...

Such a situation will serve as a catalyst for real change on a global scale...

They will believe, so then it is up to Obama to achieve!

I believe that he is more than capable!

McCain's election however, will be viewed by most as a perpetuation of a practice in arrogant foriegn policy; such perceptions will not be easily reversed, which will frustate the McCain administraion, resulting in more drama...

As I am a realist, it is easy for me to accept that fact that it'll be either Obama or McCain who will be the next president...

As a man of logic, the choice is easy as to who I am casting my ballot for!

My vote'll do more than only sitting at home... plus I've been getting others to register as well as lacing those who are undecided... and I'm just getting started...

Trip on this... if a few thousand of the folks who sat out the 2000 elections had actually voted, Bush would've never been president....

Those who are currently in power would love nothing more than for us to live our lives accepting the status quo as our only option...

At the very least, I can say that I voted against Bush both times and use my right to free speech to criticize the arrogant practices of his administration, possibly influencing others to become more active in life...

Personally, I see that I have no choice but to participate in the process - as my ancestors, once enslaved - were denied that privilege...

But yeah, for those who are gonna vote for Nader... your vote ain't gonna change nothin', so you might as well go play some video games or sumthin' on election day!

Did you even read the first post in this thread?

Do you have any problem with Zbigniew Brzezinski endorsing him and becoming one of the formulators of his foreign policy and the effects that would have on U.S.-World relations should he ever become president?
Or this one?

Obama also has Ivo Daalder, Susan Rice, and Lawrence Korb.

Look at all 4 of those people up and try and tell me his foreign policy is going to be different that what we've already seen.

Daalder was a signatory to the Project for a New American Century ("PNAC"), a neoconservative "think tank" which strongly influenced the George W. Bush administration's foreign and military policy in the Middle East.

Talk about change!

Dr. Susan Rice was a foreign policy aide in the Michael Dukakis campaign. During the 2004 presidential campaign, served as a foreign policy adviser to John Kerry.

Whoa he's gotta be doing something different!

Korb served an advisor to the Reagan-Bush election committee in 1980 and was then appointed Assistant Secretary of Defense (Manpower, Reserve Affairs, Installations and Logistics) from 1981 to 1985. In that position, he administered about seventy percent of the Defense budget.

This guy is sure to be full of progressive ideas!

Their votes won't count any less than the others
