@krazee: of course, that goes with team allegiances.......although acquiring shaq back in the day made me stop liking the lakers, I don't think there's anyone in football that the Raiders could get that I would hate, the exception being Tom "I get trains run on me by my offensive line for maximum protection" Brady, but I'd just continue talking shit about him while still rooting for the Raiders.

I have always liked Hall tho, never payed attention really to the other acquisitions except drew carter being on my fantasy football squad (and got his ass cut) and kwame harris just because of the nfl tv contract forcing me to watch 9er games if I wanna watch football.

WE FRANCHISED WOODSON 2 YEARS IN A ROW AND HE CONTINUED TO GET INJURED SO WE WERE HESITANT ON OFFERING HIM A LONG TERM DEAL. IT SEEMED LIKE A GOOD MOVE AT THE TIME.

TOO BAD FOR US.

I forget what interview CWood said that going to greenbay was the best thing for him cuz there are really no big party city around there so he really started to focus on football cuz in oakland he was alway going out to clubs in san fran, oakland, and san jose alway something to get into. He said nothing in greenbay but snow and cold so he started to focus on his health and getting into the gym more often. Great for greenbay sucks that he was fucking off while in oakland.

The Raiders are serious about contending... they signed William Joseph too? If they somehow get D. Hall it's going to be on. I agree with S1, we could have the best CB tandem in the league. Let's see what happens....

Hopefully they'll pay Asomugha too (I think he deserves a bit more than Hall because he's our true #1 corner)

You should actually hope they dont trade for him, cuz like i said before, Aso is more important to the teams future.

Im willing to bet, if they wait til the trade deadline, they may be able to get him for a 3rd, or a 4th also......

YEP. YOU'RE RIGHT. THERE IS ACTUALLY A RUMOR GOING AROUND NOW THAT ASO JUST SIGNED A LONG TERM DEAL AND NOW D HALL IS BACK PEDDLING CUZ HE DOESN'T WANT A DEAL THAT IS MOSTLY BACKLOADED WITH MONEY.

I HOPE IT'S TRUE. WE WOULD HAVE THE DOPEST CORNER TANDEM IN THE LEAGUE BUT I COULD TAKE HIM OR LEAVE HIM AT THIS POINT. ASO IS THE GUY WE NEED TO FOCUS ON SIGNING.
