Not really... have you seen Vince Young's vision cone in Madden? It's small like it is in real life... what about Lendale's speed as a running back? He's slow in real life just like he is in Madden. LOL.... Just like the receivers that are on your roster. The receivers on your roster are garbage in real life just like the receivers on your squad are garbage in Madden. Y'all better pay attention to them Madden ratings because they reflect the players pretty close.
raiders have 13 wins in the last three seasons :ermm:

your still lame for thinking carter gives you a legit deep threat....if he was a legit deep threat other teams would have looked at him.....he wasnt even a top 5 fa wr in one of the weakest fa pools of wrs in a long time.....you cant prove he is a legit deep threat because he hasnt showed anything to anybody except you playin madden.....

case closed homie no one will agree with you

Source: Falcons to trade Hall for Raiders' second-round pick in '08 draft

The Atlanta Falcons have reached an agreement in principle with the Oakland Raiders to trade cornerback DeAngelo Hall for the Raiders' second-round pick in the 2008 draft, pending the Raiders finalizing a contract with Hall, according to a source close to the Falcons.

Hall is close to agreeing to a contract with the Raiders that will pay him just below what Asante Samuel signed with the Eagles, according to the source. Samuel signed a six-year deal worth a reported $57 million, with $20 million guaranteed.

Hall is a former first-rounder taken with the eighth pick in the 2004 draft.

I actually dont agree with this trade, and paying Hall, Asante Samuel numbers is all bad too.
Hall is a good player, hes solid, but hes way the fuck overrated. He has a bad attitude, and worst of all, whats gonna happen to Fabian Washington? and Asomugha?

If they cant get aso locked up to a LTD, then Hall is not worth it, the Raiders need to focus on getting him locked up before worrying about another CB, yall may have the most expensive secondary in the league with the trio signed this year

Thats what I said but that doesnt mean that adding Hall is a negative for our team.

Fabian didnt do too well last year but Routt replaced him well it seems like both of them are taking turns doing well. Hopefully we can trade one of them and keep the other for our nickel back or just keep them both and have a deep ass secondary. Dont get me wrong they both are going to be good corners but it doesnt look like they are going to be getting to much playing time so we might as well get something for them.

Hall on the way?
By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer
Saturday, March 15th, 2008 at 4:06 pm in Oakland Raiders.

At the NFL scouting combine, cornerback DeAngelo Hall allowed himself to be intercepted in the media “gauntlet” for the expressed purpose of getting himself out of Atlanta.

“I’ll go anywhere,” Hall said. “Anywhere that wants me.”

“Anywhere” in this case is Oakland. ESPN has reported that a deal has been struck in principle for their second-round draft pick in 2008, No. 34 overall. The Newark Star-Ledger reported on Feb. 22 the Giants were offering their first-round pick, No. 31 overall, for Hall, but no deal was ever consummated.

The NFL Network reported Hall was in Oakland Friday taking a physical and meeting with Al Davis, Lane Kiffin and Rob Ryan. (The NFL.com report by Adam Schefter actually reported he was talking to Rex Ryan, but I’m assuming it was Rob).

According to ESPN, the Raiders are prepared to sign Hall to a deal which would pay him slightly less than Asante Samuel, the New England cornerback who received $20 million in guaranteed money from the Philadelphia Eagles. Hall was entering the last year of his contract.

Hall’s scheduled salary for 2008 is $4.22 million and his contract can be voided in 2009.

Hall has 17 career interceptions, including with a high of five last season.

A two-time Pro Bowler, Hall is regarded as one of the most talented and explosive cornerbacks in football. The last time Davis won a Super Bowl, his cornerbacks were Mike Haynes and Lester Hayes, and you just know he is thinking that pairing Hall with Nnamdi Asomugha gives him his best set of corners since then.

Hall comes with some baggage, hence the second-round pick.

Last season, Hall was fined $100,000 by then-coach Bobby Petrino for a sideline meltdown that came after three personal fouls in a game against the Carolina Panthers. He was critical of the organization for cutting veteran defensive tackle Grady Jackson. Although Petrino is gone, Atlanta G.M. Thomas Dimitroff told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution he would listen to offers for Hall.

If the Hall deal is completed, the Raiders would have its first-round pick, No. 4 overall, and then nothing else on the first day of the draft. They dealt a third-round pick to New England as part of the trade which allowed them to draft Mario Henderson in the third round last year.

The possibility exists that the Raiders could trade out of the No. 4 spot and get additional picks on the first day. They could also use either Fabian Washington or Stanford Routt as trade bait to fill the void, keeping one of them to become the nickel corner.

Hall deal not done yet
By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer
Saturday, March 15th, 2008 at 5:19 pm in Oakland Raiders.

While confirming that the Raiders are in serious trade negotiations with the Atlanta Falcons for cornerback DeAngelo Hall, Bay Area News Group beat writer Steve Corkran reports the two sides have not yet agreed on compensation.

ESPN reported an agreement in principle which would send Hall to Oakland for a second-round pick, No. 34 overall, in the 2008 draft.

Oakland’s only picks in Rounds 1 through three are at No. 4 and No. 34. They do not have a pick in the third round.

Hall desperately wants out of Atlanta and could conceivably agree to a deal even if his contract is not renegotiated.

Hall is scheduled to make $4.22 million this season and can void the 2009 season. Without a new deal, Hall could play one season in Oakland and essentially be a free agent in 2008.

If Oakland does give Hall a megadeal, one of its effects will be to drive up the price of Nnamdi Asomugha for the 2008 season. As an exclusive franchise free agent, Asomugha will receive the average of the top five cornerbacks once all the new deals are in. The higher Hall’s price tag in Year 1, the more Asomugha will make. As it is, he will make a minimum of $9.4 million.

After the Javon Walker contract, the Raiders were reportedly $6.4 million under the $116 million salary cap.

One way to help themselves against the cap is to give Asomugha a longterm deal and spread out the signing bonus over the life of the deal with a minimum first-year salary.

The price could be astronomical.

Asomugha already will pocket $10 million in 2008, give or take a few hundred thousand. To keep him on the roster in 2009, the Raiders would have to franchise him again and give him a 20 percent raise. Either that or let him go as a free agent.

That means Asomugha stands to make approximately $22 million over two years with the Raiders, or $10 million in 2008 plus whatever he could get on the open market in 2009 if the Raiders opted not to franchise him.

With those options, the $20 million in guarantees given Asante Samuel in Philadelphia could be insufficient to bring in Asomugha.

CHREE IS RIGHT. BRINGING HALL IN AND GIVING THESE KIND OF NUMBERS COULD PRESENT PROBLEMS IN GETTING ASOMUGHA LOCKED UP FOR A LONG TERM DEAL. HOPEFULLY AL AND HIS NEGOTIATORS CAN MAKE SOMETHING HAPPEN FOR BOTH PLAYERS THAT DOESN'T PUT THE TEAM IN A BAD POSITION FINANCIALLY. IF THERE IS ONE THING I CAN SAY FOR AL DAVIS, HE IS A SAVAGE DEAL MAKER AND MONEY MOVER. HAVING THEM BOTH WOULD MAKE US THE BEST SECONDARY IN THE NFL, HANDS DOWN.

Raiders working on deal for DeAngelo Hall
By Adam Schefter | NFL Network

Scott Halleran/Getty Images
DeAngelo Hall could team with Nnamdi Asomugha to suddenly form one of the NFL's most formidable cornerback tandems.

Details are still being finalized, but Falcons cornerback DeAngelo Hall could be traded to the Raiders within the next week.

Before any trade becomes official, two deals will have to be worked out. The first will have to be the Raiders compensating Hall's current team, the Falcons. The next will come from the Raiders having to compensate Hall, who wants a new deal. But those talks are well underway.

After getting permission from the Falcons last week, Hall spent Friday in Oakland, Calif., at the Raiders' training complex, taking a physical and meeting with Al Davis, head coach Lane Kiffin and defensive coordinator Rex Ryan.

The Falcons and Raiders are thought to be closer to agreeing to a deal than the Raiders and Hall. It is likely that Hall will want to be paid as one of the top cornerbacks in all of football.

Free Agency 2008

Yet, the Raiders have been more aggressive than any team in football this offseason, doling out $144 million in guaranteed money to defensive tackle Tommy Kelly, wide receiver Javon Walker and safety Gibril Wilson.

Now, Hall has become the latest -- and biggest name -- player they are pursuing. One other NFC team has expressed a mild degree of interest in Hall, but the Raiders are the favorite to land the perennial Pro Bowl cornerback.

To land Hall, it likely would take at least the Raiders' second-round pick, near the top of the round. Oakland would be unwilling to surrender the draft's fourth overall pick, but the second round pick might be enough to get it done.

Should Atlanta land that second-round pick, it would be scheduled to pick three times in the round -- its own selection, Houston's in a trade for Matt Schaub last year, and Oakland's. It would give the Falcons unlimited possibilities
