I see what Deebo is trying to say... I think he's saying we need a short yardage back that's good for just pounding it in there right up the gut on those 4th and 1's... like Crocket used to do for us.

no other offers were made! you would have heard about it. You heard of the teams interested but not 1 offere was made other than raiders. If he is so healthy and wanted the big payday, why didn't he wait it out to see what teams offer?? NONE WERE BITING!
You have no idea what your talking about. Adam Schefter said on nfl network yesterday that the packers were very interested in walker and behind the scenes were making offers at Walker ( The video is on the homepage @ nfl.com). Also the cowboys, eagles, bucs and others were interested and thats why the raiders had to offer him so much money. Obviously the raiders are in need of some wr's and its hard to find good wr's right now in free agency.

I said other teams are interested but no offers made.....just like your last fucking line reads.......

AND AGAIN.....in your own fucking post you proved me right....you said

Obviously the raiders are in need of some wr's and its hard to find good wr's right now in free agency

this is true....so if he was so fucking good healthy why did none of those other teams make intial offers??????

why didn't walker and his agent wait to see what the others would offer????

they took the deal knowing no other team would offer that high because his health!!!!

read between the fucking lines of what owners players and agents say....none of them ever say things point blank!

Well if his knee was all that tore up then why would teams show any interest at all?

why wouldn't they??

he's a big time player prior to first knee injury and had a decent season after first injury...but faile hprribly after 2nd knee injury.

they would be interested in bring him in checking him out for sure...but again NO OFFERS MADE!

Also...Denver needs help something fierce at WR, as in we have 1 good wr thats it!!!!!

So why would they not pay Walker for another year to use his services????

because they have checked him out top to bottom!

it's not like we through walker to the side because we have an abundance of young good wr's...in fact we have NONE other than Marshall.......Right now we are going to go into camp with Marshall, Colbert, stokley and martinez....Outside of marshall you like that look??? uhh noo....they would have kept walker if he was healthy!

Unless your a fucking agent or nfl insider you have no idea if any offers were made. You can assume shit all you want and act like your a wannabe john clayton or some shit but in reality you don't know a thing. The raiders gave him some extra money obviously because other teams were in the running for him. Like I said watch the video on nfl.com with a fellow donkey fan adam schefter breaking it down.

you broke down what he said for me and what he said matches what I have said.

Try again!

how do I know no offers were made???? YOU DIDN'T HEAR ABOUT THEM!!!

You hear about EVERY offer being made with the information superhighway that is the internet! If teams made an offer their adam schefters (beat writeers) would have wrote and known abaout it......then that gets posted to other sites...which in return get posted to other sites...you see how that works??? pretty amazing stuff this internet huh?

just like you hear about other contarcts and trades before they go down, you would have heard about these offers if they were real.

You assume that every transaction and deal in the nfl automatically goes public. Most talks are behind closed doors. Just like when Bernard Berrian last week first visited the vikings (the offers were made behind closed doors nothing was out in the public) then he went and visited the raiders once again any offers the raiders may have made to him weren't out in the public, then he went back to the vikings and they signed him.

There is no rule that bidding for players and the exact number the team offers always goes public or is required.

I know this but ANY good beat writer knows and reports it!

Just how I knew we were cutting Javon over a month ago, just as I knew we were siging colbert before it was made public. Denver beatwriters are good...I guess I just assume other teams beatwriters are just as good.

In the interview he said that the Raiders made an offer that he couldn't refuse. He could have received offers from other teams. Just because offers didn't go public doesn't mean no offers were made from other teams. Teams did show interest but Oakland jumped at the opportunity to sign him.

He also said he wanted to grow with a young qb and that may have had something to do with signing with Oakland.... and not only that he signed with a division rival.

Ok let me get this right. You believe whenever there is a free agent on the market and he visits from team to team getting bids, these numbers at all times are made public?

he had that on denver!

I guess I find it funny no writers, gm's or fans other than Raider fans think this was a smart move.
