hate to say it but i think the niners will land mcnabb...and it will probably be a good look too. But fuck them though. ARE THE RAIDERS EVER GONNA HAVE A GOOD OFFENSIVE LINE AGAIN?!?!?!? I REALLY HATE THE LINE BOTH SIDES ESPECIALLY KELLY. FUCK.

^^^ So which qb would they get rid of, it would most likely be there recent signing cuz they sure aint getting rid of Alex Smith. I agree with you about the lines and we need to dump Kellys contract.

Carr? dont think they would do that, It would have to be hill then...i guess. if I were them i would just wash my hands with alex smith way to inconsistent...and yeah the lines are pure crap.

they already gave away hill for a 7th round pick to the Lions. For whatever reason the Niners arent willing to part ways with Smith, maybe cuz he was drafted in the first round and they spent to much time with him already. They certainly aint releasing or trading Nate Davis

damn i was thinkin that hill was gone too... that situation sounds awfully familiar. smith and j-bust are very similar in different ways if that makes sense. Put smiths brain wit j-bust arm and you might have something.

Smith and Russell are ridiculously different

Alex Smith in 43 games....completion pct. over 56%, over 7,000 yds, 37 TD's 43 INT's
2009 - 11 games, 60 pct comp., 2350 yds, 18 TD's 12 INT's


Jamarcus Russell in 31 games....comp pct. 52%, lil under 4100 yds., 18 TD's 23 INT's....
2009 - 12 games, 49% comp., 1287 yds, 3 TD's 11 INT's

stats are comparable but Alex Smith seems to be progressing at least.....Russell has had 4 good games in his career....Alex Smith had about 6-7 really good games last season....Russell is more Ryan Leaf than Alex Smith....and Alex Smith got thrown to the wolves his first season on a really bad team....if you discount that season where he was basically running for his life on every play he has a much better TD-INT ratio. Russell got to sit behind a veteran QB almost the entire year and should have been taking notes or something.....

Not to defend Alex Smith but comparing him, or anyone, to Jamarcus Russell is absurd

Mike Lombardi was on The Herd this morning for a minute... and he said the teams most likely to get McNabb at this point (if Philly gets rid of him) would be Buffalo and Oakland

^ wow... I love Aso... but I would not hesitate for a second to do that trade

Samuel is a very solid CB, he's no Aso... it would be a slight downgrade at the CB position, but a HUGE upgrade at QB

I'll be juiced if this happens!

McNabb has always been one of my favorite players... and I always root for him, I'd love to see him in the silver and black... let's make this happen!

on the one hand this is coming from profootballtalk, which means it's probably bullshit. then again, it would be really difficult to take on mcnabb's contract and keep aso with his huge contract also. and I do think old al wants mcnabb. I've been wanting to get a nammdi's jersey too, fuck this bullshit.
