You see, I think you're completely missing the entire point of this thread. The topic title states "Name Your Top Ten Favortie Emcees Of All Time And Why". Putting aside the typo, this thread is asking for each members favorite artists. No where does it state that this is a "Top 10 Greatest Emcees Of All Time" nor "Top 10 Most Popular Artists Of All Time". Thus, you're little bitchy attitude about people selecting Strange Artists even though they're not the G.O.A.T. is irrelevant to this thread. Clearly, the members who list Kutt Calhoun enjoy listening to him more than they do a Rakim, or a Nas or a KRS-One and thus he's a Favorite of theirs.
i feel you...i guess we all just got misunderstood...i mean i can see why they are in YOUR top ten...still doesnt mean that i cant say why? And i mean sales do matter when you only sell as much as THEY did. Obviously too many people wasnt feelin them cuz tech has as many people at one show as they sold.

Once again, Ville, the topic specifies favorite emcees. That's something you don't seem to understand. Nobody needs any "cred" to be a fan favorite. Once you learn what an opinion is, come back to this thread and speak your mind. Lil Wayne "built it up and proved he can last" and what is he today? Some sell out bitch who can't even rap, let alone write a verse that talks about anything even remotely relevant to the world. Talkin about martians and shit.

Lupe Fiasco - amazing story teller and has incredible lyrics and flow. always on point
Nas - kinda sluggish now but still an amazing rapper. Illmatic best rap album ever IMO
2pac - more a poet then rapper, he was just an all around awesome rapper
Ice Cube - guy created most controversial genre in rap and is still the best at it.
Eminem - crazy flow, rhymes and lets you into his world no matter how fucked up it is.
Notorious B.I.G. - not that great at story telling but his rhymes were unfuckwititable lol
Method Man - best flow IMO and his analogies are fucking bananas.
Zack De La Rocha - always had a purpose behind his rhymes and still ripped the mic
Ludacris - only mainstream rapper that actually spits like a BEAST. analogies are crazy

Murs - Murs is dopeness when it comes to the storytelling.
Slug [of Atmosphere] - Slug has always had a nice flow and sound to him. He is also good at Storytelling.
Sadistik - One of the newer peoples in the hip-hop game. I bought his debut album, and it was fantastic.
Busta Rhymes - Has always been great. His music can be fun, funny, or serious.
Talib Kweli - What can't you say about Kweli?
Matic Lee - I've been down with MLee since I heard Insomnia. I haven't really been disappointed by any of his projects.
MC Chris - MC Chris has a unique voice, nice flow, and different subject matter. Makes for a niiiiice rapper.
GrewSum - GrewSum's music has always been dope to me, and the newly pressed Grass Roots 1 & 2, along with the brand new Grass Roots 3, did not change that fact.
