Also, Mr. Peete, I don't think that album sales has much of a relation to quality of the product in the rap genre--maybe for others. Many rappers sell their records based on their videos, the clothes, the image, and trying to convice the public that they're "the best out there." You can take MANY albums for example. You can use Jay-Z's new one, DEFINITELY Field Mob's album (if it sells), and to some extent all of Eminem's albums (based on image, but he has talent).
If nothing good is out and someone wants to buy an album, they'll buy whatever the THINK is hot. Whether it turns out to be tight is a mystery............
