Please, give me a break. Please tell me how can we fully address the problem? What solution can there possibly be? There has already been speaches of appology's, which in reality don't mean shit. But besides that what can there possibly be?

please don't judge my intelligence on this matter. History and communications is not my strong point. I don't have the perfect words that make me sound smart like some of the other people on here do. My work is strictly in the technology field.

I honestly think this thread is bullshit. If i hadn't caught onto it so late, I would have jumped in and added my two cents. But from the outside, looking in, i can see how fucking stupid it has become. I think the majority of the posters on here are more ignorant than they think, and are NOT AS INTELLIGENT AS THEY BELIEVE THEMSELVES TO BE. An educated person can see the opposing arguement, and respect the opposing opinion, even if they don't agree.

I'm putting my one vote in. That's what counts. Hopefully a majority of the people in my state feel the same way I do. Some changes I have seen, some I haven't. That's the way this system works. Maybe you haven't seen some of the changes you wanted. If that's the case...go out and help do something

Personally, and I know many others who feel the same way, local issues are more important than any other. This is where I live, go to
work, raise my children, etc. A new stop light is important. A crosswalk is important. Police patrol is important. After school programs are important. These things may seem trivial to you, but not to me. Maybe they will pass a law that I don't agree with, but at least I'll know I made myself heard. Can you say the same?

ok dude^^^^it's still the same drug and does not warrant a harsher sentence. my brother was a coke-head. it killed him. coke and crack are equally addictive. just because white people do coke and blacks smoke crack (stereotypically) does not mean one should be punished more severely than the other on the distribution side. the laws are racist and put more minorities in jail for the same essential substance.
