First Episode tomorrow on CBS

Boxing returns to network television for the first time in several years Saturday when CBS airs the premier of Showtime's boxing reality series Fight Camp 360: Pacquiao vs. Mosley, at noon ET.

Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley meet for Pacquiao's WBO welterweight title on May 7. Their four-part reality series, "Fight Camp 360: Pacquiao vs. Mosley", airs on CBS Saturday.

The last time CBS aired a live boxing event was on Jan. 20, 1997, when then-middleweight champion Bernard Hopkins knocked out Glen Johnson in the 11th round. The last time live boxing aired on major network TV was NBC's only season of The Contender in 2005.

"Fight Camp 360 is as unique as it is compelling," says Showtime Sports executive vice president Ken Hershman. "The key to the success of this series is the inherent truth to it. There's no script, no voiceover. The provocative and intriguing personalities of the larger-than-life characters in the boxing world are what tells the story. From the promos in NCAA basketball to broadcasts of Fight Camp on the network in Saturday afternoon and prime time, the overall company support for the Fight Camp 360 series and the May 7 Pacquiao vs. Mosley pay-per-view event has been overwhelming.

"And we're just getting started."

mayweather aint jumpin in no ring nothin dude is shook! lol at mosley sayin mayweather should be in the ring and not pumpin him own name up for the fight.
Mosley needs to keep Mayweather's name out of his mouth because he jumped in the ring with all that wolfin' and still got spanked. Had Mayweather hurt and couldn't even finish him.....

If anybody should be talkin' Mayweather it should be Pacquiao.

Tony-I'm been saying that Mosley is not going to let Manny get off his 6 punch combos because Mosley will hold, move and ruff up Manny. I've not seen anyone since Marquez that has made Manny reset and think alittle bit in the ring. Mosley is going to hurt that body and ruff Manny up in this fight.

who here thinks pac can KO mosley?

That's a tough a one, especially if you're placing money on it.

Mosley's never been KO'd, only knocked down once in his life (against a bigger vernon forrest, headbutt that occured before punch may have been the reason too).

Pac has been looking pretty beastly in training the last few days in the video's i've seen so I don't know. I'm thinking if anything it will be a mercy stoppage late by the ref or Naz throws in the towel.

Does shane have anything left? he looks good right now in pics and videos. I thought he was done after mayorga then came back and destroyed margarito, sometimes it's deceiving with these older cats like Mosley and Hopkins who keep turning back the clock. look crappy in one fight, then phenomenal in the next. is that old age, or is it a style match-up? both? Tough to say.

definitely style matchups, I really dont know how this fight will play out cuz i could really see Mosley fucking Manny up at the same time Mannys work rate may be way to much for Mosley to deal with. This is the first time in a while Mosley will be the bigger fighter and he might really benefit from that landing a lot of power punches cuz of the reach

If Manny KOs Shane its going to be a TKO. Shane has alot of heart and I don't see him getting counted out at all.

These are my two favorite fighters that like to exchange punches. Its going to be one of the most exciting fights of the year imo.

I am placing on the Under 11.5

Shane can get the KO. Just like anyone can...
Manny can get the KO, but more than likely it would be a ref or corner stoppage. They won't let him take an unnecessary beating like Margarito did.

Looks like pac is training very hard for this fight and not taking any chances...Roach said today this was the best training camp Pac has had since Oscar.

MANILA, Philippines – Eight division champion Manny Pacquiao is definitely not taking Shane Mosley lightly.

Proof of that is the number of sparring rounds he plans to go through while preparing for the Mosley fight on May 7.

“Three times a week kami nag-sparring,” Pacquiao told abs-cbnNEWS.com. “Tapos pahaba ng pahaba [ang rounds] hanggang maka 140 rounds kami ng sparring.”

(We spar three times a week. The rounds get longer and longer until we log a total of 140 rounds of sparring).

Pacquiao already sparred with boxers Shawn Porter and David Rodela in Baguio City.

He said he will spar with several more boxers at Freddie Roach’s Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles.

“Marami pa sa akin doon na naghihintay [na sparring partners] (There are more sparring partners waiting for me there),” said Pacquiao.

In his fight against Antonio Margarito last November, Pacquiao reportedly logged only 110 sparring rounds.

As a result, there were instances in that fight when the Filipino champion got tired in front of the Mexican giant.

Pacquiao won that bout with a lopsided decision.

He, however, said he wanted to be perfect against the 39-year-old Mosley.

“This time hindi ako nagbibigay kahit isang porsyento ng kumpiyansa sa kalaban ko (This time, I won’t underestimate my opponent, not even 1 percent),” said Pacquiao.

“Kelangan paghandaan ng mabuti ang laban namin ni Mosley, hindi siya easy opponent. Magaling siya na boksingero at malakas (I need to fully prepare for my fight against Mosley. He is a very good and strong boxer),” he added.

Despite his age, Mosley has a wealth of boxing experience.

He spent years as a boxing amateur before becoming a multi-titled world champion in 3 weight classes.

He also holds the distinction of being the only boxer who halted granite-chinned Margarito. – With a report from Reyma Deveza, abs-cbnNEWS.com

Manny is in for a very hard fight. Mosley is going to ruff him up. This fight will let me know just how good Manny really is, because he is going to have to make adjustments and think in ring. Mosley is not going to just come forward with no defense like Cotto and Maragarito.

It's only about Manny, Berto, and well maybe Floyd when he comes back.
Realistically we only have like 3 fighters. Apparently any other name mentioned isn't even worthy of fighting anymore.

99% of professional boxing is either in the untested or shot category.

I don't see a KO for Pac (definitely not one for Mosley), but I'm predicting a mid to late round TKO for Pac.

I can't wait for this one. I actually didn't like the fight at first, but it should be exciting while it lasts given the two guys' styles.

Wasn't too crazy about the CBS show...maybe it was the commercial breaks, and it seemed super short. Plus, I like how 24/7 isn't censored.

Is anyone else gonna be out in Vegas for this fight/Cinco de Mayo weekend? The Strip is gonna be crazy...

lol now tony is saying cotto is shot too. amazing a shot fighter can be a champion and the #1 fighter in his division.
Well Bigface always says that Cotto is shot, well if Cotto is shot then what is Mosley? I think Cotto looks better than Mosley right now. Mosley gets winded and can't even punch. His reflexes are gone, that's why it's a low risk fight for Pacquiao. If Shane would have knocked Mayweather out and beat Mora, Pacquiao wouldn't be fighting him. Pacquiao is just using this fight to pad his stats.

Aight, just finished from watching some highlights from Shane vs Mora... Shane was still punching. He did look a bit gassed but he still was punching. He wasn't putting them together like he did when he was younger but he may still have a little left in his gas tank to be somewhat competitive. He looked better in his last fight than he did against Floyd, maybe Floyd's style or the way Floyd fought made Sugar look bad.

he couldn't touch floyd after round 2 that's why and floyd was countering the shit out of him and shane became hesitant. I've been telling people since the fight shane didn't run out of gas he's always been in phenomenal shape he's a gym rat, floyd just made him look bad after he got his timing and speed down. shane had no answers for that and he was lost you could see it on his face, he looked puzzled.

Yeah I see now, I thought he was just out of gas or shot. Floyd's style did it to him I guess because watching Shane vs Mora, Shane didn't look too shot, it looked like he still had a little bit in him.
