Manny Pacquiao Injured in Car Accident

Manny Pacquiao was just involved in a car accident in Las Vegas ... TMZ has learned ... but we're told he's going to be alright for his big fight tonight.

Sources close to Pacquiao tell TMZ he was traveling in a fleet of cars after church today, when one of Manny's security vehicles collided with the car carrying Manny.

We're told Pacquiao is back at his hotel now, where his trainer, Freddie Roach, checked him out. According to our source, Pacquiao is just a little shaken up ... but he's okay to go for tonight.

Sorry, Shane.

FUCK YOU
LAS VEGAS -- Pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao was involved in a minor car accident Saturday afternoon, hours before he was to defend his welterweight title against Shane Mosley at the sold-out MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Pacquiao spokesman Fred Sternburg told ESPN.com that Pacquiao had been driven to another side of his host hotel, Mandalay Bay, to visit a ballroom for a church service. On his way back to the side of the resort where Pacquiao was staying, the car he was in stopped at a traffic signal. That is when Sternburg said Pacquiao's car was lightly tapped by the security van trailing the car at around 1 p.m. PT.

"It was just a tap," Sternburg said. "Manny was laughing about all the attention it was getting. They were tapped. That was it. It wasn't like they were cruising and someone ran into him."

Nobody was injured, according to Sternburg. No police report was filed, he said.

Trainer Freddie Roach met with Pacquiao afterward at the hotel and was satisfied he was fine.

"Manny is ready to go," Roach said.

My heart says Mosley but my gut tells me Manny.

Pacquiao is just an entire different breed of a fighter, one of the best ever imo. He's like a kid all jacked up on mountain dew mixed with a 4 pack of 5 hour energy drinks. Nonstop motor with the mindset of an assassin in the ring. He enjoys it when he gets hit and rages right afterward...lol Dude is just in a league of his own.

In order for Mosley to win this fight, hes gotta try and bully Pac in the ring and get in there and exchange punches like he is capable of doing. Take the fight to Manny and be ready for punches n' bunches from all kinds of different spike lee angles in return. If he can keep the pressure on him and fight smart enough he can do it.

Just don't see it happening though....Manny gots this.
